We loved the wine paired 3 course meal, Manuel welcomed us to this more than 400 year old winery that’s been in his family for generations. Totally recommend for a trip to Duoro it’s not just a place to stay."

"OMGosh this is the prettiest hotel. Right on the Douro River. Every nook is a surprise. All the rooms are slightly different so choose wisely and be specific. We had a wonderful dinner in the the restaurant. All the food was very good, just be aware if you have food restrictions etc. as "no dairy/milk" seems to be get confused. Just ask to speak to someone who knows as they actually pride themselves on being able to accomodate Gluten and Dairy free . Having said this, the breakfast is super nicely done. You will not be dissappointed."
