"We were two retired couples staying in Halifax for 6 nights. The Marianne apartment is spacious and well equipped. The location is fantastic: Walking distance to fabulous restaurants, the harbour and many museums, around the corner to the beautiful public garden and the citadel. Jeremy was an extremely attentive host. He responded very quickly to all concerns and questions. We highly recommend Halifax and this apartment."

"It was quite pleasant. The accommodation was as stated, clean, spacious, modern, and close to where we wanted to be: central. There was a lot of stair climbing involved, which was fine for us but maybe not all older people. The bed was unusual but comfortable; the shower was quite spacious, and the kitchen was well-equipped. In general, it was very acceptable."

"Everything was great about the place, very reasonable price for the space and amenities. The only thing that stood out on the down side was that it had a fair amount of street noise at times. So if you are a light sleeper might want to consider ear plugs. That being said I would absolutely come back and would recommend this place to other people"

"For one night the property was fine. Reported the bathroom needed work on the sink, and the shower did not accommodate tall people, and very slow stream when showering. If using the sofa bed, please ask for additional blankets when booking."

Communication was poor among the many subcontractors; signed a contract that was the revealed to say only 'TBD', no welcoming e-mail with door code until I asked for it the day of our arrival, welcoming e-mail had a very negative tone with its list of charges for infractions of the rules including not separating the recycling properly, my single request for an extra 2 mugs and if possible a teapot went unanswered. The kitchen and bedrooms are upstairs which was fine with us, but may not be for some. The kitchen area and fridge are small which posed a bit of a challenge because there were five of us."
