"Lovely old building with pleasant grounds but the unit lacked a great deal. Firstly, no air conditioning on a 34 degree day is a huge problem for anyone. We had to ask for a fan and leave windows on ground floor open all night in order to get some kind of sleep. NOT IDEAL for safety. Kitchen facilities were lacking, no chopping/cutting board, no sharp knife to cut anything, no microwave heating bowl, slow oven top, no egg spatula or tongs, no toaster. "We rented the chateau to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary with children and grandchildren (13 of us). Everyone was delighted with the beautiful and spacious home, the property and the location. We were able to travel to many wonderful places nearby and a little bit further out in France. It was an amazing time in a fairy tale place."
