Spectacular Oceanfront Condo at Hideaways Beach, Bali Hai Views, AC all rooms

Experience spectacular ocean views and dazzling sunsets, in your private luxury vacation residence. This condo is on the second level six steps down with ocean and mountain views. A/C in all rooms, both bedrooms and the open concept kitchen living room area. Our spacious indoor living room and two outdoor lanais offer expansive views of the Pacific Ocean and Makana Mountain (called Bali Hai in the movie South Pacific). This spacious, contemporary, and elegantly decorated home is designed with all of your vacation needs in mind.

The Master suite has exquisite ocean views, a King size bed, private lanai with a table, chairs and lounges, and a deluxe, private bathroom with a dual vanity, and a large walk-in shower. The guest bedroom has a lovely Queen size bed and an adjacent bathroom with tub and shower head.

The upgraded kitchen includes stainless steel appliances, a large beautiful 12 foot peninsula, and ample space for preparing meals and entertaining. The adjacent dining area is perfect for cozy family dinners or romantic setting to view the most beautiful and the bluest ocean in the whole wide world.

Utilize our high speed internet, TV/DVD in living room, beach gear and toys, are all available for use. Relax on our two private oceanfront lanais, or walk down the secluded pathway down to Hideaways beach or Puu Poa beach.

Our brand new swimming pool, and resurfaced tennis/pickle ball courts are available for your enjoyment. The world-class Makai golf course is located steps from our vacation home.

Within easy walking distance there are 7 restaurants - 3 in the 1 Hotel, Hideaway Pizza, Happy Talk, Wiki Pizza, and the Makai Grill. A little further (a couple miles along the golf course and ocean view) is Nanea at the Westin, and in the Princeville Center there is B's Kitchen, Tiki Iniki, plus a few others. And on Saturday there is a farmers market with a bunch of food vendors in the Princeville Center.

In addition to B's and Tiki Iniki, the Princeville Shopping center has a Foodland grocery market, Lappert’s ice cream shop, North Shore General Store, gas station, several boutiques, 2 banks and post office.

10 minutes away is world-famous Hanalei Bay where a long stretch of white sand beach and the famous pier awaits you. The many restaurants, shops, and the Hanalei beach community is a memorable experience. Enjoy surfing, kayaking, swimming, snorkeling, shell picking, and other activities. Its all public and no fees! Many hiking trails along the ocean within a stones throw. And an absolutely gorgeous 2 mile walk starting at Puu Poa along golf courses perched on the cliffs above the ocean.

Paradise in Princeville
We had an absolute fantastic time in Princeville. We have stayed at multiple properties at Puu poa and this is one of the nicest. We had a few minor issues that happened at no fault to the owners and lucy handled them immediately. She was always available to answer a question and always friendly! The property was clean and the furnishings were very comfortable. They provided everything we needed. My entire family highly recommends this property and cannot wait to come back!

Home away from home
Our group had the best time staying in Lucy’s condo. Communicating with Lucy was a breeze, and we were so grateful for her accommodations. Lucy’s condo was clean, beautiful, well cared for, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The lanais had the best view, the couch was super comfortable, the bedrooms were big and roomy, and the kitchen was well equipped. This was our first time staying in the north shore and we loved it. Short drive to the cute town of Hanalei and the most beautiful beaches.! We did a lot of scuba diving and boating activities in the south, so we drove around lot, but we didn't mind the drive. My group loved seeing the island and definitely would stay at Lucy’s place again.

Great Stay and a Fabulous Location
The positives were the fabulous view and location. It is truly a stunning property in a perfect location to enjoy all that the north side of the island has to offer. We loved and used the beach chairs, snorkel gear and weber grill that were provided with the property. When we asked about pickle ball rackets, Lucy had them delivered to the condo, which was really nice. The negatives were that the hot water heater is not that large and for one night a few of us had cold showers as we all showered one after another. Lucy informed us that she is in the process of installing a larger water heater but the permitting process was taking some time. For the rest of the trip, we spaced out our showers and it was fine. On our last night, we had a litle bit of a bug issue and let Lucy know and she stated that she would remediate the issue immediately.

Trip of a lifetime
First of all, Lucy was wonderful to work with! I had never used VRBO before this trip and was a little hesitant. She was quick to help me out over the phone when I had technical difficulties accessing the email with final details. Lucy made a believer out of me. Her piece of paradise was not only as described - it was better! That is because there are no words or photographs that can accurately show how amazing and special this place is! The breathtaking views of the ocean and mountains were unrivaled. The beach below the condos was pristine and provided sun, shade, and snorkeling. By no means is the hike to Hideaway beach a stroll, however, it makes you feel like a kid again. It never got old. It was magical! If we ever make it back to Kauai, then we will definitely want to stay at Lucy's again. It was everything we had hoped for and more. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Wonderful stay in well-equipped condo
The condo has a fantastic view in a great location. The neighborhood is really quiet, which was perfect for us. The best part about the condo is how well-equipped it is. Lots of snorkel and beach gear which was very nice to have. But the stand out was a well-stocked kitchen. Lots of plates, cups, kitchen and cooking utensils, a full spice rack, etc. Anything you might need to prepare a meal was in the kitchen, which made it really easy to buy food at the grocery store without needing to get every spice or condiment you might need to accompany your meal. We really enjoyed this comfortable stay.

Lucy was a wonderful host. The condo is very well appointed with everything one could need to make themselves at home. This unit is positioned to see Sunsets - not all buildings in the complex face this direction. It also features Air Conditioning which is very nice especially for the rear bedrooms. Not all Pu'u Poa units feature AC so our host has made a significant investment in her guest's comfort which is why I selected this unit. We had a great stay and would absolutely book with Lucy again.

We spent 4 nights in Lucy and Doug's condo. The condo is very spacious and comfortable. It is beautifully located with a great view of the ocean. It is central to access many beautiful beaches and trail. Very complete kitchen equipment. The views from the condo is outstanding and beautiful. The pool is nice and never crowded. The beach can be challenging to get to. Hideaway beach is a short but steep hike and other beach across the street has about 600 steps to it. But at least you don’t have to drive and find a parking spot. A neighbor said we were being loud but it wasn’t like we were having a party (we are a family of 4). So be weary of sensitive neighbors. Otherwise, the property was fantastic.

Our stay at this condo was amazing. Condo is exceptionally clean, exceptionally decorated and exceptionally furnished. The listing was accurate, and the place was fantastic! With there being so many good places to eat in Kauai, we found ourselves getting everything to go just so we could have our meals out in the lanai. The views are amazing from both the lanai and the master bedroom. Lucy was very pleasant. On our first day, she even dropped off some new gear for snorkeling! The check in process was easy. The location of the condo is perfect, being in a nice community full of friendly people. The condo has everything that you'll need in case you'd like to cook a meal, and everything you'd ever need for a day at the beach. The property is not far from Hanalei, which has great places to shop and eat. With Kauai being a small island, it's not too much trouble to drive to the South Shore. I found Princeville and Hanalei to be exactly what I was looking for, in that it's the perfect place to relax for vacation. Upon checking out, Lucy wished us safe travels. I hope I can come back next year!

A pretty place but long drives
The condo was pretty and had a great view of the ocean. I was surprised that you had to hike down a steep path to the beach. Prices at nearby places were ridiculously high. Since we wanted to explore a lot of driving was involved. It would have been nice to have a list of nearby places to go for activities.

Pictures Don’t Do It Justice!
Cool unique building among a golf course community on a cliff overlooking the ocean. The patio area is very private and HUGE. I literally sat at the dinner table inside and was able to see through the very large windows the spout of a whale passing by…so magical. I also saw them while my kids swam in the great heated pool! There is a nice shady beach below the cliffs that disappeared with the tide in the evening …have to make your way down a bit of difficult path, but my kids did it without any problem. Comfy beds and kitchen had everything we needed. The town is great with plenty of laidback eating and touristy shopping. The owner was very accessible for simple dinner recommendations and other basic questions. Would love to stay again!

Beautiful Condo on Princeville's North Shore! Great access to beaches, beautiful views watching surfers every morning. Condo is well-equipped, clean, and with comfortable beds. My wife and I spent 4 nights at Lucy’s condo. It was exactly as described and pictured. Condo was great with everything we needed. Views from the lanai are fantastic. Short walk to beaches and several restaurants. Easy drive to Hanalei. Nice relaxing stay.
