Spectacular Lakeside, Bali Hai Mountain View, Fairway Home

Welcome to Hale Mahina! Long hidden as a luxury private residence, this Princeville pearl is now yours to enjoy. All one level, Hale Mahina offers unobstructed expansive views of the bejeweled Nanolokama Mountains and Bali Hai across Lake Mahina and the world renowned Makai Golf Course. Our 3 bedroom, 3 bath single level home is decorated with Asian island decor, antiques and artwork, and Tommy Bahama furniture. CHECK OUT THE VIRTUAL TOUR WALK THROUGH OF OUR SPECTACULAR HOME (LOCATED AT THE END OF THE PHOTO STRING). It has two master suites, both with their own bathrooms. Master suite # 2 has a jetted tub, Queen bed, quality linens and Master suite 1, a king bed, quality linens and tiled shower with double vanity. Bedroom 3 has two twin beds, quality linens, 50" flat screen TV with Blu Ray player. The gourmet kitchen is fully stocked with all gadgets you would need to create a culinary masterpiece. Stainless steel cookware, rice cooker, crock pot, Kitchen-aid mixer, Vitamix blender, juicer, Keurig coffee maker, regular coffeemaker, French press, coffee grinder, bake ware, and all utensils, including a rolling pin. Filtered water and ice on the refrigerator door. Two citrus trees, one lemon and one lime that will add refreshment to your beverages when in season. The layout allows the cool ocean trade winds to flow through the home and there are ceiling fans in every room and portable ones to position where needed. The views are magnificent from both lanai's. Relax and unwind from your busy day and watch the sunset over the mountains in a very private setting while grilling on the Weber gas BBQ. Hale Mahina provides full size washer and dryer, beach accessories including beach towels, cooler, chairs, two boogie boards and snorkel gear. We have set up a ping pong table on the lanai for added fun. Everything you would need to create memories.


Please note: Parties of more than 6 guests will be charged an additional $25 per night, per guest, for the seventh and eighth guests. Also note: Princeville is a residential community of homeowners that enjoy quiet time between 10 pm - 8 am. If security is called because of continual excessive noise whether during the day or quiet time 10 pm to 8 am, a fine of $300 is assessed to the homeowner for the first visit and $500 if they have to return. These charges will be billed to the guest.

Comfortable & Clean
My husband & I enjoyed the homes location, it was clean, had very comfortable beds & any and all amenities you would need for a great trip…The homeowner was easy to get a hold of and was very friendly too! Unparalleled View
This was the second stay for my husband and I. This time with friends joining us. Plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the incredible views. We love this beautiful house in part for the location and view, but it also has everything one might need for cooking and the beach. We hope to be back next year.

A spacious home situated on the golf course. Well equipped kitchen and luxury linens in all bedrooms and baths. Newly decorated with Asian furniture and art objects. Look forward to a private and relaxing vacation when you rent this home. We will book again soon!

Great place in Princeville
We had a great stay. The house is nice and has everything we needed. It was a bit warm (July / Aug) without air conditioning, and there seemed to be a lot of mosquitos on the patio, so we didn't spend as much time outside on the as we had hoped. But overall, a great place and we enjoyed it.

Wonderful family trip
We had such a great time at this beautiful property! The house was spacious, comfortable, and stocked with everything we needed for a perfect family vacation. The kitchen was well equipped and modern, there are 3 updated bathrooms for the whole family to spread out. The outdoor spaces are peaceful and provide easy access to the golf course and the chance to see so many birds. Most importantly, our host was so kind and accommodating! We are looking forward to coming back for another stay!

Cozy and relaxing home
Aloha, our family rented this cozy and relaxing house with a million dollar view from the patio. Home is situated nearby Makai Golf Course and it is also centrally located to downtown Princeville. We drove to Hanalei and Anini Beach and both were not crowded. If you want a piece of paradise then this is your rental property. Mahalo.

Beautiful Princeville home
Elegantly furnished large 3 bedroom home right by scenic small lake/disc golf course. Quiet area with lots of beautiful trees and birds. Fresh lime and lemons available in backyard. Kitchen reasonably stocked. Plenty of bathroom amenities included. Walking distance to outdoor gym/farmer's market/Foodland grocery store. Late check out provided since evening flight. Highly recommend as long as not on a tight budget. Guests required to purchase insurance coverage as well as $1K damage deposit.

This house is very comfortable. It is well decorated and furnished. We enjoyed the ping pong and the spectacular view. On breezy days it is just delightful to be inside or out on one of the two porches. The house is on a golf course that is now closed. As a result, the cart paths of this course now serve as walking paths. The golf course land is now used for Disc golf.

Wonderful - highest recommendation.
We had a wonderful experience at this property. Communication was exceptional and very helpful. The location in Princeville was great with easy access to the grocery store and transportation to Hanalei. The house was well equipped with cooking utensils. Beds were comfortable. We rented ebikes for travel throughout Princeville - recommend! Of many properties that we have rented in Princeville and Hanalei, my family stated that this was one of their favorites. Thank you to Gail and the property owners for use of the home!

The View is Breathtaking
The house is beautiful, comfortable, and well appointed. Communication with Gail was easy and friendly. She really made us feel like friends rather than customers. The beds are comfortable with nice bedding, and lovely bathrooms for each bedroom. The kitchen has everything you need, even spices, olive oil, and vinegar. Cannot say enough good things about this home. But, the crowning glory is the view from the back lanai and… well honestly the view is incredible from every room in the house. The view made me want to stay forever! We have already reserved again for next year. Thank you Gail!

Beautiful, clean home but a little warm
This home is very well kept and in a very nice residential neighborhood that feels upscale and safe. The mountain and tree views from the back deck are picture perfect. The only reason that this gets four stars vs five is that it was quite warm in the house and the owners are very particular about not leaving fans on when you are out and about. Thus, after a long hot day of exploring, coming back to a very warm house that does not cool down quickly was not ideal. I imagine it is quite comfortable during slightly cooler temps. It was about 82 the few days we stayed. In all, it was a good experience and we would recommend this home to others.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, with beautiful views out all windows. The spacious outdoor patios/decks were perfect for our family to enjoy the lush scenery. However, we did get some bug bites. The location was great and within walking distance to Queen’s Bath. The host was very communicative, helpful, and accommodating for our toddlers. The home was rather warm and humid without AC, though the fans provided helped somewhat. Overall it was a wonderful place in Princeville!

Exceeded Expectations
We were so pleased with our stay at this property. The owners thought of everything down to the smallest detail to ensure a comfortable stay. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is a convenient grocery store near by. The view from the back lanai was stunningly beautiful especially at sunset and had plenty of seating for our family. The garage was conveniently stocked for our days at the beach. We would highly recommend! Truly magical setting!
