This Kauai vacation rental has a fully equipped kitchen for home cooked meals, a large tiled lanai to enjoy a cool drink amidst tropical breezes, a large king size bed with expanded bathroom and vanity area, and more. Free wifi. Your own reserved parking place.

You are close (but not too close!) to the complex swimming pool with Jacuzzi and BBQ area. Condo includes a reserved parking spot just steps from the condo entrance. The Sandpiper Village is centrally located within the Princeville resort community, and close to all of the north shore sights. Beaches, shopping, and dining are all close by. You can follow the walking path across the street to the Princeville shopping center, park, library, or head the other direction to Hideaways beach, golfing, and several additional dining options. You'll truly stay like a local here. This older apartment complex is home to many permanent residents, mainly young, and these Princeville condos provide some great amenities like pool, jacuzzi, and barbecue grills. Unit amenities include free wifi, Smart TV, full bathroom, full kitchen.

Great location for a short getaway
I could not have asked for better. I was extending a work trip for a few days and had not been to Kauai before. More than happy with this property for a few days stay. The amenities were beyond expectation.

Great place, no AC
We stayed here for ten days. Wonderful trip. We rented e-bikes from paradise bikes and just stayed local (Princeville, Hanalei, Hanea SP). Hit the pool and hot tub every day. Lots of kids, which I don’t mind. We were blessed with great weather. The condo is fan cooled. Would have been uncomfortable if it had been any hotter, but we were okay in a cool July.

The location of the house was very beautiful I would often just sit outside and in awe but with that being said The air conditioning was not working there so it was very hot and there were only fans, The screen door does not work that well and there’s not a key, And it’s not that clean.

Great area. Great condo. Only issue we found was the lighting at night to know where you are going. We got in after dark and went to a few buildings to find our way. Thinking a map of the condo complex should be included with your info. Thanks for the great stay!

Family friendly. The place was very clean. The unit is downstairs and you could here adults walking around upstairs. However, the respect for quiet time at night was very good. The living room furniture is a little on the older side and saggy. But overall a very pleasant stay.

Loved the place. Has everything you need and the location was amazing. I read that the bed was fixed but it sags big time in the middle and felt like I was sleeping on a slant. I looked under the bed and there was literally a book supporting, or trying to support the middle, metal frame. Just needs a new frame and it would be 5 stars. Had a great time and loved the place otherwise!

The property grounds are amazingly beautiful and well kept. The condo itself had everything you might need on a vacation. It felt like a home away from home after long days of sight seeing, hiking, swimming... It is far from all the main island attractions. If you stay here, be prepared to make at least a 45 minute drive to any attractions beyond Hanalei Bay.

It looked just like the pictures..had just the basics, which was fine for me.The pool and hot tub were great ! We were there to hike, so at the end of the day, the hot tub was great for my legs and feet !! Swimming pool was very nice. Located close to store's in Princeville, which was convenient.

When first arriving the check-in instructions were wrong. They indicated that there was a lockbox with a key, so we spent forever trying to get into the lockbox and by chance found the electric keypad lock behind the screen door. Besides that, the condo was very nice. If you are accustomed to air-conditioning, the "island breeze cooling" is very different, and works the best in the bedroom where the main shutters are. The kitchen is sparsely stocked, so be prepared for simple cooking or purchasing your own spices. The condos are also very densely packed which means you can almost always hear your neighbors and there is a porch right outside the bathroom window. Overall, comfortable condo in a nice area, and great location overall in-between Kilauea and Hanalei.

Overall very pleasant
Rental was nice and in good safe area. We enjoyed our stay very much. There were a couple things to note: Needs a little updating as 1/2 the light bulbs were out and one of the fans and one of the chairs were broken upon arrival. The bed needs to be replaced as it was deeply sunken in in the center. When tried to communicate about the old Wi-Fi connection and password there was no response. Communication was poor and unresponsive but we made do and had a great time! Thank you for the safe place to rest our heads. Washer/dryer and dishwasher was super awesome to have in rental unit !

Nice stay, but needs a new bed
The apartment is just as described. I think it is great for a solo traveler or a couple. I worked from home here and is was good. The complex is generally quiet. However, you are right next to to the pool, so when there is someone in the pool, you'll know it. Quiet hours are from 8pm to 8am. The pool is closed during quiet hours. The neighbors are very respectful of said quiet hours. It tends to be quiet, which would have been perfect, but the upstair neighbor is currently remodeling her kitchen. This made working very difficult. I assume this work will continue into Summer 2021. If you're concerned, I would contact the listing party. Another issue is the bed. It has a dip in the middle of the end of the bed, making it uncomfortable. It needs to be changed ASAP. The parking is also very close to the entrance, which is nice when you're packing for a long day. The apartment offer some nice supplies, like a large lunch box/small cooler, 2 beach chairs, a parasol, 2 sets for snorkeling, etc. The location is nice since the North Shore is pretty undeveloped. The complex is essentially in the middle of a golf resort. If you want to feel like you're in Florida, then this is the place for you. There is no walkable beach location. You will need a form of transportation, unless you like walking a couple miles. Shopping and restaurants are limited. Hanalia and Haena are really nice and close by. On the Saturday, there is a small farmers market near the apartment. There is enough for what you need. I found myself driving out to Kappa'a more often than not. This is managed by a a third party rental agency. The agency is very responsive and generally helpful.

Easy, clean condo with great communication
We had an excellent stay at Sandpiper 120A! Host was extremely easy to communicate with, their app and book made navigating the condo, and nearby activities so seamless. Be aware no A/C, but there are excellent fans throughout the house so we barely noticed. Lovely lanai and a well-stocked kitchen made our week here fun and extra relaxing. Bed is firm, which I loved, and ample pillows in varying firmnesses are provided. Access, check in and check out were super easy (although we forgot to return the parking pass- learn from our mistake)! Host provided two beach towels, beach chairs and an umbrella which was a fun surprise! Would absolutely stay here again- we love this location in Princeville for easy access to the market, to Hanalei, beaches and our favorite snorkel spot, Tunnels! This unit is great for people who want to grab groceries and cook at home on occasion, and like a clean relaxed atmosphere. Very near to the pool and hot tub (completely gated so no need to worry if you have kids) and the parking is just outside so easy access if you have mobility issues. Couldn’t be more pleased with the management company who were excellent in their communication. We’d be happy to stay here again!

Wonderful space in a great location
My partner and I had a great time in this quaint and very clean condo. It is walking distance from a few of our favorite beaches, the golf course, and the Princeville town center/food market. There is a beach umbrella, a cooler, and two beach chairs that came in handy as well. The porch is located right next to the community's pool/grill, and it's nice to sit out and have your morning coffee or an evening drink and watch the sun set. Overall a great place for anyone looking to stay on the north side of Kauai.
