This two-bedroom, two-bath unit boasts sweeping ocean views from your fully-stocked kitchen, living room, dining room, newly renovated lanai, and primary bedroom.

Pu'o Poa is the perfect location, walking distance to two uncrowded beaches and a short drive from the Princeville Shopping Center and Hanalei Beach. The Makai Golf Course is a very short drive away as well.

One of Puu Poa's best amenities is the pool on the edge of the cliff - you'll find it hard to pull yourself away from this truly epic spot. There are also pickleball courts on site!

Puu Poa community is directly adjacent to Hideaways beach trail which features amazing snorkeling in the summer months. Just across from Hideaways access is the public staircase to the beach at the new 1 Hotel Hanalei Bay. This newly renovated 5-star hotel boasts three world-class restaurants, a coffee bar, shopping, a spa, and many fantastic views.

Please note, that this home does not have central air conditioning but relies on ceiling fans and ocean breezes to cool the home.

Great Princeville vacation
Perfect home base for exploring the North shore and the island of Kauai for a week. Comfortable beds and amazing view of the ocean from this property. The provided beach chairs and towels were very nice, handy for relaxing on the beach.

Property has everything you would ever need for your Kauai stay. They recently remodeled the lanai, so any previous comments about the bad lanai don't worry about anymore. Nice additional surprise was the pickleball courts.

Place is amazing. Yes, a little dated, but sofas are comfy. No AC, but none needed in this unit. Lots of summer trade winds keeping things super cool at night plus lots of fans! I actually slept cold! Can’t beat waking up every morning to awesome views. And magical sunsets every evening from BOTH lanais! Made you want to cook more from the kitchen! Will def stay here again.

We had the most beautiful ocean view, a pool, and a short climb down to Hideaways Beach. #305 had absolutely everything we needed to enjoy cooking at the condo and visiting the beaches. Such a well stocked condo! The lanai could use some maintenance and lighting, but you don't notice cracked tile when you are looking at the sunset.

The location and views are fantastic and ideal if you need to be in Princeville. The amenities were mostly as described with the exception of a coffee grinder we never found. The property was clean upon arrival, and the small interactions we had with management were fantastic. Overall we had a great trip and ended up spending a great deal of time in Hannalei as it was a quick hop away. For the price you really can't beat a stay here and we would gladly return.

The unit has an amazing unobstructed view of the ocean! The unit is very comfortable, clean and spacious and is a great home base for exploring Kauai. We had a little trouble figuring out how to operate one of the ceiling fans and Angela with RE/Max helped us out immediately! The only things that might have made it even better would be better lighting in living room and master bath, and a few standard kitchen items for cooking, e.g. oil, vinegar, sugar, etc. Overall, we were very satisfied and would like to come back again someday!

Kauai Revisited

This time we traveled with another couple (all of us seniors). The unit provided us everything we needed. The furnishings were outdated, but everything was neat and clean. We are not overly picky, but the only complaint would be that the lanai was in need of repair. There were several cracked tiles and weeds popping up between the tiles that housekeeping could have easily taken care of to make things more visually aesthetic . However, our focus is on the ocean and relaxation, so we easily got passed those issues. Overall we had a great time there.

Unlike some properties that manage to make a decent place look like a mansion, the pictures here don't do it justice. My husband and I stayed here for part of our honeymoon and we will plan any future visits around the availability of this home. We enjoyed the location to Hideaways beach and got our full share of snorkeling in. They provided fun beach supplies as well, and the kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies and pleanty of the basics for cooking. The only two things were weren't prepared for was the lack of air conditioning, which truly you do not need once the sun sets with the fans and windows open, and the washer was not working properly for our stay. Re/max went above and beyond to help us with that problem and took our laundry away to do it and brought it back within 12 hours. We could not have been happier about our stay and this place.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This wasn’t our first visit to a Princeville, so we knew we were coming to Paradise. The rental has two lanais with direct bluff/ocean views overlooking Hanalei Bay and ‘Bali Hai.’ Large sliders brought the outside into the open plan, two level living/dining/kitchen area. We were anticipating company when we booked this space, but we wound up having more than enough space for just the two of us. This location is fabulous. We walked 3to 5miles every day, drove to Hanalei numerous times, toured towns al over Kauai, visited an active regenerative farm, visited the lighthouse and other sights, and had cocktails and many meals on our beautiful lanai.This unit has a fully stocked kitchen and two large bathrooms. Our only criticism would be that there is a light fixture in the guest bathroom that needs replacing, and the lack of light in that tub space would have made it very hard for people using that bathroom to bathe. That being said, the rental company was very responsive in trying to resolve the problem, and hopefully, the next guests won’t have to deal with that.We were rarely home during the daytime, or construction noise next door could have been an issue, but our contract had stated that this might be the case, so we were pleasantly surprised that the nose wasn’t constant. The weather was perfect the whole time and we would come back to this property in a heartbeat.

Great location and amenities for family vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo location was excellent. Great view and good size layout. Master bedroom was nice and the bathroom is huge. The beach chairs, boogie boards, beach towels were very appreciated, as well as the extra bedding for the pull out couch. Accessing the condo was easy and plenty of parking. Access to Hideaway Beach and the neighboring hotel beach was super convenient. We also walked to Queens Bath trail. The kitchen was nice and very clean. The owner must’ve read the comments about the pans because they appeared very new. They were great. Plenty of dishes and utensils. The unit was overall very clean. A couple improvements would be to get rid of the lounge/rocker chair in the living room. The arms felt sticky, likely due to all the humidity. The back room window did not open up, so that is a tad claustrophobic. There were fans, though. There is no exterior lights on the patios, likely due to the complex and ensuring people don’t stay outside late and bother neighbors. It was fine for us and we BBQ’d early enough, but something to be aware of. The light bulbs in the dining light and master were glaringly bright, so we just loosened 3/4 and that made it much better. I was surprised that there is no hot tub at the pool area. That seems to be standard. But I suspect this is another way of ensuring that the place doesn’t become a party complex. I would stay here again for sure. Overall very good accommodations for our family.
