Sit in the shade of the furnished lanai and enjoy unobstructed views of the ocean across a corner of the golf course. Walk to Anini Beach in just 8 minutes. Stroll across the little foot bridge to the Westin and find a Starbucks, a small convenience store, and dining options. The Princeville shopping center - with its numerous shopping and dining selections including grocery store and wine shop - is just 0.9 miles away, either a quick little drive or a pleasant 15 minute walk. You'll enjoy the ocean, mountain, and golf course views from Puamana, and there's a swimming pool as well. The scenic beaches of north shore Kauai are just minutes can be lying on the warm white sand of Hanalei Bay in 10 minutes!

This comfortable, roomy Kauai condo provides two bedrooms and two baths on two floors. Upstairs is a large loft with queen bed and a full bathroom with both tub and shower. There's a comfortably furnished sitting area, perfect if you're traveling with teenagers or grandparents who want their own space for lounging. The sofa in the loft sitting area opens to a queen size bed. Downstairs you'll find an upgraded kitchen with granite countertops that's open to the dining and living areas. Dining table seats 4 people, and there's extra seating for three more at the kitchen island. The living room is comfortably furnished and includes a flat screen television with cable. Free wifi is also provided. Also on the downstairs level is the master bedroom with queen bed, and the master bathroom with tub and shower. Additional amenities provided include beach towels, beach chairs and beach umbrella.

ABOUT PUAMANA: Guests can enjoy a 2 minute walk to the Westin Resort with its Starbucks, bar, restaurants, and wine tasting. These Princeville condos are comfortable and spacious, with private lanais, full kitchens, and large upstairs lofts along with many upgrades and charming personal touches. Free parking is available quite close to your door (one reserved space per unit).

About Anini Beach: Anini is the longest and widest reef in the Hawaiian Islands and because of the unique conditions, the beach usually has well protected waters and some of the most consistently good conditions for safe water activities. There is no lifeguard posted at Anini Beach, but it is still considered to be one of the safer beaches on north shore Kauai. Generally uncrowded, at Anini Beach visitors can enjoy snorkeling, beach walks, picnicking, paddle boarding and wind surfing. The beach path from Princeville to Anini Beach is a beautiful walk with scenic views and takes just a few minutes from our Princeville vacation rentals at Puamana. The path can be slippery following rain.

Best apartment ever!
We loved our stay. The condo was in a lovely area on the best part of the island. The space was perfect for lounging and cooking, especially with that gorgeous view! Both bedrooms were very private and it was a very nice place to spend the week!

This place was hands down the best property!! From the location to every detail in the home we couldn’t have asked for anything more. We loved all the extra items this place had on hand like the ice chest, beach wagon, sun umbrella, rain umbrellla, beach towels, beach chairs…. The list goes on. Kauai is our new favorite island and I will always stay at this place! The absolute best!

Very nice place
The inside is so new and decorated nicely. Great view on a golf course and a short walk to a secluded beach. Also close to Anini beach, a world class snorkeling location. Only problem was construction nearby.

Nice place close to beaches, Princeville, and Hanalei
Stayed here with my wife and toddler and this place was perfect. It has a great view over the golf course. It is also close to groceries and shops in Princeville, or Hanalei if you're looking for a bit more variety. There's a walkable beach as well as many more that are a short drive away.

Perfect location and perfect views
This condo was conveniently located near grocery and shops to stock up on anything you need for the trip. 10-15 mins from Hanalei and Tunnels with stunning views. Check in and out process was easy. Condo was stocked with all the beach essentials, towels, kitchen appliances, etc you would need. The condo is situated on beautiful golf course with ocean views for sunrise and sunsets! Highly recommend to others.

Awesome condo
We stayed at this property for almost two weeks. Everything was just great . Let me start with the view . It was amazing! We saw whales from our balcony! The entire condo was stocked really good. We had plenty of towels and blankets. The kitchen was also fully stocked. We had such a good experience! We will definitely be back again. I was pleasantly surprised that management called us to make sure we got the code to get in before we even got there and checked with us again after we arrived. I really appreciated that. Yes, there was a construction going on , but it didn’t bother us much.

We had issues with the refrigerator. Maintenance came and said it was fixed but it wasn’t. Never made ice so we kept buying it. Also the back lanai could have been more pleasant but the wire try to keep the birds out was ripped so they were there all the time making nests. Reported an issue with one window but never got a response. The location was great. I would recommend this complex.

When we arrived I forgot there was no air conditioner, we ended up not using the bedroom upstairs after one night. They did however provided us plenty of fans to use. Overall we felt safe, enjoyed the pool, close to stores. When we arrived it was late, it was after business hours, myself and others couldn’t find our place and had trouble locating it, it would be nice if there was someone to talk to or more direction in locating the house.

Best Vacation Rental
This was the best rental I have ever stayed in. The management was always available to answer questions. We had one issue that was resolved quickly. The unit was beautifully renovated with brand-new appliances. There were excessive amounts of bath and beach towels. Boogie boards, noodles, beach chairs, beach cart, and more we're a nice touch. The beds were very comfortable. Everyone slept well after long adventures. The view was incredibly. There is a lime tree near the pool that had fresh fruit.

Because we got to the property at midnight, it was difficult to see the building numbers and we have a hard time finding the property. Directions would have been helpful. The dishwasher did not work.

Next door neighbor sits out on balcony constantly and smokes, not a friendly guy either. After we tried to smile and say hi with him ignoring us we just did the same. Rented bikes and rode lots of places from the condo. Nice hike to beach close by. Overall a great trip in a comfortable condo.

Decent stay, but would look elsewhere next time...
The unit is nicely updated, well stocked, and the beds were comfortable. As others have mentioned, it does get very warm in the unit, and even with fans going it doesn't cool down until well after dark. We were very aware of no A/C as mentioned in the listing, but were still a little surprised at how hot it got upstairs. Our issue was that the fridge didn't work properly upon our arrival and there was little assistance/concern from the management company. They were slow to respond or just didn't respond, and then never followed up to make sure it was properly working or to let us know it had been fixed. We went two days without a working fridge, so the food we bought went bad. We planned to eat in to save some money. When we mentioned having to throw out food, all we got was an, "oh sorry". Also, the water/ice dispensers and ice maker were disconnected. I would not rent this unit unless you have been assured that the fridge has been replaced, as I saw a previous review also mention issues.

Puamana 16B was great for our crew of four. The unit is very professionally managed and is a standout rental in terms of being well-stocked with essentials. The array of beach gear was a huge plus and the kitchen had everything we needed and more. The unit isn't large, but it was more than enough space for our family of four. As other reviewers have noted, the only downsides might be 1) the lack of AC—although we managed just fine during a pretty warm week. There are plenty on box fans, and with managing open/closed windows we stayed comfortable enough. 2) The smoker next door was a little annoying, but not nearly as bad as other reviewers seemed to indicate. The view from the lanai is spectacular and more than enough to make up for a periodic waft of smoke. Overall we thought the place was a solid rental.

Beautiful property but with smoker next-door.
I wish I could give a solid five stars. Because the property was beautiful, beautiful location, property management was easy to work with. However, the homeowner next-door is a chronic smoker. Smokes on the lanai daily. Even though this is against the rules within the community as it is within the state of Hawaii. There is no point in reaching out to property management about this issue if you stay at this location. They can’t stop him from smoking. That said, we just dealt with the problem by ignoring it, or getting away from the lanai when he was smoking. Overall, even with this lame smoker, it was an enjoyable experience.

Reviewer Comments: This unit is completely redone and spacious with a glorious view. It is also well stocked. During our January 2024 stay, the entire condominium property was undergoing major repairs (new roofs) and they were working on building 15 and building 16. We endured a crane and dumpster parked in front of our building as well as workers pounding on the clay tiles and roof of our building. We also had a bug infestation (roaches and ants) during our stay, which required two pesticide treatments. The normal parking area was inaccessible and there was a ladder and a pile of broken clay tiles blocking the front entry. We took pictures of the mess and sent a daily update to rental agency. I would not recommend staying at any unit of the Puamana condos during the construction, which has been going on since 2020.

Great stay!
The property was clean and comfortable and was well equipped. It had a beautiful view from the back balcony and was in a good location for us, but we did drive down to the south side of the island a lot. Just a few issues - the management company called us the day of check in to inform us that the water and ice on the refrigerator were broken and that someone would drop off ice trays. We never received the ice trays so we bought some. Also, the downstairs bed frame was slightly broken. We noticed it was very creaky and sagged a bit on one side. It became uncomfortable after several nights so we looked under the bed and noticed a piece of the frame was broken. We did notify the management company the day before we checked out and they were going to have maintenance fix it. There was a good supply of beach chairs, beach towels etc. and two umbrellas (one was broken).
