"Do not let the outside view fool you. Yes, there were literally cows right outside of check in. Check in was pretty simple but you may have to "call" someone down as the check in is not staffed. Our room was recently renovated and was quite nice with a fridge and microwave. Bathroom had great water pressure. Make no mistake this place is the definition of "no frills" but it is the only game in town and our room was worth the price."

"We needed to replace a multi-room hotel option with someplace we could stay that was relatively close to the KU main campus in Lawrence and would accommodate our need for more than one bedroom and not break the bank. This charming house in Baldwin City was an amazing find and a lovely surprise! We were just 20 min from campus and were completely charmed by the intricacies of the house. Clean, well maintained, and a great place for a weekend with our family. We will definitely be back again!"
