"We had an awesome time in Dettelbach at Gruener Baum. I booked it randomly because my BFF and I were driving from Hannover to Starnberg and it was in the middle. What an unexpected delight! The restaurant below was full but we got the last table available and ended up partying with the locals. It was a great opportunity to meet the local patrons and have fun. "We really enjoyed our stay. It was nice that the home was traditional with modern updates to the kitchen and bathroom. We were too busy to get to the restaurants in town, but the bakery was delicious and the town was beautiful to walk through. We appreciated the welcome bottle of wine, bread, and hanutas! The 6am clock tower bells caught us off guard, but after a couple days we were able to sleep through them. Overall we're so happy with our stay and would highly recommend to others!"

"Pros: - Great location right in the center of town - Nicely sized apartment - Apartment itself was very clean Cons: - The process of getting the key in the back of the building for the key lockbox and finding your way to the front wasn't fun. - The curtains let in no light. Sheer curtains would have been better - The entry to the building had a nasty smell. - Bedroom needs a chair."
