"Excellent hotel, with a stunning ground floor entrance/reception. Rooms and hallway a little tired, but it didn’t detract from the stay. If you get a family bedroom make sure you got a proper shower - ours was one over a bath without a shower curtain so it wasn’t the easiest to shower in without water going everywhere. Would definitely stay again if we found ourselves in Lyon."

"Great location within walking distance to all major sites in Lyon. Fabulous exterior. Very nice lobby and restaurant on site, with great ambiance. An excellent spa, with very attentive staff. Room service works like clockwork, better and more reliable than you'd find in any hotel. Rooms are rather basic, however; bathrooms are clean and modern, but the rest of the room feels dated and cheaply made (old carpets, cheap desks, worn out lamps, etc). One of my TVs did not work. "This co living space was gorgeous! Gym on site, laundry and a kitchenette with a small fridge. Front desk was very helpful and professional. I’m glad I picked this for my first stay in Alton. Definitely worth it. 10/10"

"It is renoveted old house in old town. Interesting layout. From the elevator, we need to walk some spiral staircases to get to our room, not convenient. When with luggage, it is kind of dangerous. The gabage cans are very small. Whe we check in, the front desk staff was not there and door is locked. We waited in the rain. Besides these, the stay was ok."

A wonderful castle, comfort for royalty

"Phenomenal property !!!! I was so happy with our stay - which was sadly too short. This was merely a rest stop on the way to ski. But what an incredible surprise. Super friendly staff - the welcome was professional and so wonderful. The place is a castle and you feel transported to the Middle Ages. Real fast is excellent. Super comfortable. I will return !!! "

"A great hotel for an overnight stay. The hotel seems newly fitted and all food quality fixtures. Plenty of parking, easy access to motorways and comfortable, air-conditioned rooms. Their breakfast is good quality and value. We’ve stayed here twice and would stay again. Staff are friendly and very helpful."

Nice hotel, awful staff

"The hotel itself is OK. It gives off this vibe like someone really cared when it started, the rooms and furnishings are really nice, but then completely gave up, as the details are cheap and staff is tragic. The checkin lady made me feel like her day’s worst burden, then said that the restaurant only sells frozen pizza and if we want something edible, we can drive elsewhere (in an establishment named Hotel Restaurant Riccoty). Later, when paying for the city tax, it took her good 5 minutes to come up with a bill for €1,48. To top it off, the staff forgot to call us a taxi, despite being repeatedly reminded that we really need it to be there early morning, less we miss our flight. Luckily, an Uber was near and flight caught, but I will never set foot in this hotel again. "
