"A pleasant, well-furtnished hotel with large rooms with balconies overlooking a tree-lined square in the centre of Bergerac. The breakfast buffet was excellent, and the staff very helpful."

"This house is lovely, clean, tidy and literally everything you need.Kitchen fully equipped, and lots of basics in cupboards, salt, pepper, herbs. Oils etc.. the courtyard is a suntrap and great for outside dining. Lounge is on top floor, which is a wee bit strange, but quirky, we didnt use it and spent most of time round the big kitchen table or outside. Masses of little towns and villages to visit around and near Issygeac. Bergerac 15 mins away.Local spar is expensive, but handy in an emergency, bakery is fantastic and 2 mins from house. Hair dryer gave up and owner got her friend next door to let me borrow one...life saver.All in all a most enjoyable week in the Dordogne."

"Lovely stay here , we paid for the breakfast in the morning , all fresh and lovely coffee too. Clean room , nice shower and the best sleep I’ve had in 2 weeks while on our trip, excellent "

"1. Arrive in the daylight! This is Deep France, so it's a little confusing to find in the dark. 2. Stay in the Chateau part of the house. Our romantic room was BEAUTIFUL and just like the photos. Our -in-laws had a family room, and it was very large! 3. You should reserve for dinner since there isn't much else if you arrive in the evening. We missed it and ended up eating pizza in a parking lot! 4. Breakfast "buffet" was impressive, both the beautiful DR setting and the variety of food. Worth the $. 5. We were there in March, so still early spring, but the pool area and grounds looked very inviting for warmer weather. 6. Excellent treatment at reception for both arrival and departure. 7. Room/beds/AWESOME shower! We would love to return!"
