The Hotel del Casco is located walking distance from the center of San Isidro and just a block away from the cathedral as well as the plaza where there is a market selling handicrafts on Sundays. It is easy to get to by car or public transport. The staff is very helpful and nice. The rooms are comfortable, some are around an enclosed garden room turned living room area, we chose one outside for more privacy and thought it might be quieter. "

"The temps dropped to 50s F and the room I was in didn't have a thermostat. After freezing the 1st night I told the front desk and they told me they would turn it on. It came on for the 2nd night, I froze again the 3rd night as the heat wasn't turned on. I would never stay there again. Breakfast was nothing but pastries no silverware on tables."
