We had a wonderful time at the cabin. Very relaxing and feels remote but is just a beautiful short drive to town. Clearly the animals love it there too because we hade a family of deer, a couple of groups of javelina and turkeys and all had young ones with them, all visited every day we were there.
We arrived for our trip to prescott and were surprised to find a nice home in the middle of the pine trees. It is a very relaxing place to stay. We hope to stay here again.
Had a great stay, plenty of space for all of us and a great location. Private but close to Prescott center. We got to see some wildlife and my dog loved that part!
Enjoyed the property a great deal. It really gives you the feel of a wooded cabin, while still being a few minutes from town. The only negative I would mention is the listing states that the property has WiFi service, that is not correct. But, if you are looking to unplug from the world for a weekend or longer, this property is a good option.
This is the 3rd time staying at the cabin. As always it was amazing we had no issues Pete is an Amazing host who responded quickly to any questions I had. I look forward to booking again for the 4th time. Thank you again Pete we had a great time.
awesome
Great place and location. My own mistake missing the fact that the cottage lacks central AC. Unlikely a factor any time of year aside from dead summer but that is a definite factor during peak heat. Owner is great and location is beautiful. Thanks for the stay.
This is the second time staying there. Jon is awesome and was very helpful and understanding. We booked the cabin for a certain date but had to change dates and he was very understanding and made the changes right away.the property was nice with lots of space and there was abundant wild life roaming around. I plan on booking again for the 3rd time soon.thank you Jon we had such a wonderful time.

My only complaint was narrow driveway, its tight for full size trucks. Secluded home right at the edge of downtown prescott. The home was clean and comfortable. All of the linen and bedding was fresh and clean. The showers were very nicely redone. The 2 deck porches were a highlight and comfortable. Lots of deer on the property. We also saw javelina and a flock of wild turkey. My family had a great time here. I would come back again.
We totally enjoyed our time at this beautiful Cabin. I cannot say one negative thing. It was peaceful, comfortable, roomy. We traveled from Michigan to spend time with our Neice who lives in Phoenix. She also runs an AB&B in Wisconsin and she was very impressed and commented that she will definitely recommend this Cabin.
The owner was very prompt to answer if I had a question. We highly recommend!!
The property is well maintained, clean & a perfect getaway that feels like you’re in the woods but are really only a couple of miles away from grocery stores & restaurants. The decor is old school with lots of knick knacks & artifacts from the past that require appreciation, it was perfect for my adult children but I would advise parents not to chose this property for children under 12 as there are many things they would want to touch but shouldn’t. We saw several deer & javelinas while there, also the driveway going in iis dirt/gravel & could be a little rough if you have a low profile vehicle.
The owner was wonderful, very friendly and easy to work with. This just wasn’t the right time or place for us. It was unseasonably hot. Between the heat and bugs we left a night early. Cabin was neat with wildlife and fun old trinkets to explore. More for those who want more of a rustic experience and possibly are bringing dogs. No fault of the owner.
