Beautiful landscape
We loved the stay here. We went hiking and just enjoyed the amazing view. There is a frisbee golf course and horse shoes which we loved. My only complaint is the gas smell in the home, which we were assured was safe and in the process of being fixed.

First off the view from the decks are amazing! Nothing comes close to the views you get from the decks. Plus waking up in the master room gives you a view like you have never had before! One thing that was not mentioned that we would need little necessities such as coffee creamer and basic condiments. There is only one down fall of the property is the drive up. Which in return the views makes up for it! The property is completely off grid! Which is awesome! It is solar powered and limited water. Only complaint I have is the sliding door in the master room was hard to get opened! Other than that it was great! Would stay again if ever in the area!

Beautiful
The Ravens Nest at Spruce Mountain was an amazing rental. The pictures posted Don't do it any justice. It's pretty amazing once you actually get to the property and view it for yourself. The views are breath taking and its really enjoyableto sit out on one of the decks for meals. We had a family of 5 and two dogs and were comfortable inside of the home. The road to get up to the rental can be rough its only about 3 miles from the highway but takes about 20 min to get to the top because of the terrain.. I recommend to future renters to make sure you have everything you need because if you forget something it's a trek on a dirt road to get to the store and its a road you don't want to drive down past sunset unless you have experience driving on mountain roads in the dark. My family didn't have to drive anywhere past sunset but just a tip. I would recommend this rental its a great away from the city.

Off Grid Paradise
Great location for getting away from it all. Some screens need replacement to help with evening cooling after summertime heat. The decks, all 3, are fabulous and we spent most of our time outdoors, enjoying the treetops We even saw a pair of pecaries one evening.

Amazing views!!!
Upon arriving to the cabin there was an unpleasant smell, especially in the bedroom downstairs, after opening the downstairs up the smell wasn't as bad. The decor was outdated, but they did have a tv for little ones to entertain themselves at night. The views are absolutely stunning and make this place worth every penny. It is a hidden gem, literally 30 min along a dirt road.

Great Escape
It was so nice to get out in the forest among the trees. It is about 20-25 minutes up a non-paved road. It's only 3 miles, but it's bumpy, curvy, & slow. Once you get to the house, the views are really beautiful and it's very relaxing! We had a great weekend!

Beautiful setting
We had a great time over 4th of July with our family. Interior was a little smaller than i expected. And the second bedroom upstairs mattress was hard as a rock. Overall though, it was a great time. The view from the decks were amazing.

Beautiful!
Raven's nest was overall comfy and very nice. The cabin came well equipped with everything you need. The view from the top is amazing! There is a TV in the living room and a telescope upstairs. Our family really loved it! I would recommend placing more lights outside. Also, if you are staying for more than a couple of days, I would also bring a small cooler due to the small fridge. Bring your own propane for the grill outside because it does not come equipped. Thanks Barbara for the pleasant stay!
