Got to say for the money, excellent value. And excellent location for touring. Clean and tidy room and good choice for breakfast. Only issue I had was only one pillow per person and when you sleep with 3 was hard to get used to.

For 4 star hotel,breakfast was poor, no bacon, mushrooms, beans, went to tourist office for breakfast!. Tea & coffee in room yes, but NO MILK 😡 for 3 days.

If you seek for a good location. Not recommended
The main advantage is a location near Museum street and all main sigths, the main disadvantage is staff. Because of the delay of my flight to one more day I had to book one more night. I kindly asked to give me a room where I could stay that day too. Tha receptionist told me that maybe it's possible. But on the day X he asked me to move to another room. With all my heavy luggage I had to wait 20 minutes more and then carry all bags and luggage by stairs. I have health issue, I shouldn't lift up any heavy things. But this hotel doesn't suppose that you need to use only elevator

The breakfast was amazing, the room was clean, the area is safe and overall I would return to this hotel. However, you get what you pay for, so the shower curtains need to be replaced, the rooms need updating, customer service could be improved, and overall the hotel is too warm which forces one to open their window to a very noisy street. The location is very close to the metro which is only a few stations away from everywhere you would need to get to and it was nice of the staff to hold our luggage after check out so that we could continue to explore on our last day!

Very disappointing..
We wanted to spend another night and we came to the reception to pay, They had a new reception lady who told us that there is no need to pay now and that the room will be available tomorrow morning and that: "we should wait for the morning guy, cause she's new here and she can't take money". It sounded weird and we asked her what if someone books the room online, but she said "it's ok, don't worry". Next morning the room was already taken and we had to clear our room and leave. That's 'a first' for me in 20 odd years of traveling and that is what i call: AMATEUR AND UNPROFESSIONAL CONDUCT, TO SAY THE LEAST!

Nice hotel close to transit train, in walking distance to old city center, Chales Bridge. The elevator are typically designed stop at mid-floors. Breakfast are excellent, we like to visit the city and the hotel again.

Lovely hotel, centrally located - .metro & trams just a few minutes away. A 10 minute walk to Wenceslas Square. A tip to future British visitors - they have only two tea bags in the room, and no milk. Bring your own teabags and little milks or buy from the local mini-market. There is a fridge & kettle in the room which is great.. Staff very friendly. Plentiful breakfasts but of the Continental variety (smoked cheese, sliced meats etc - no full English!)

Conveniently near metro and tram stop.
I stayed here for four nights recently. For some it might be a bit too much of a walk from here to the major sites. (Though it's not that far. I did it.) but it's right around the corner from a major metro and tram stop (Pavlova), so with a 72 hours pass, availiable from a vending maching in the metro station, I was able to hop on and off the tram and get around the city easily. The 22 and 23 trams are the ones that work the best--both will take you to Prague Castle (definitely too far to walk) and within a short walk to the Old Town Square and other sites. You'll definitely need a public transportation map, so get one in the airport before you head into the city. You'll read many warnings about Prague taxis, so I avoided them like the plague (along with cliches), so one nice thing about the Raffaelo is that you can take the Airport Express bus from the airport to the train station and walk a few blocks to the hotel. I don't remember what it cost, but it was just a few dollars.

It is not a 4 star
It is a little disappointing as a 4 star. I was in room 101, across from the entrance - very noisy. The breakfast was mediocre - when I pointed out that hot milk was empty, the lady was unhappy to fill up again and put the empty pot back to the table! The shower room was also very small. The good sides - the bed was large and comfortable, location was good.

Friendly staff but wouldnt recommend
Hotel is well situated for getting about on local transport but on a main road which very noisy all through the night. obviously if your room overlooked the back courtyard then i guess this wouldnt be an issue. There is no main room light so everything is very dim unless it is sunny outside, The 'shower' was just a hand held shower head a foot above the bath, pretty pointless and not what anyone would expect these days - just a longer hose and another fixture 7 ft up the wall would fix this. There is no bar but you can buy drinks from the fridge in reception. On the plus side, Breakfast was fairly good and the staff were very helpful.
