Perfect Budget Stay
I loved Hotel Astra. My room was small, but extremely clean (so rare to find these days!). The check-in process (relatively late at night) was smooth. I enjoyed the breakfast. There is a metro station nearby. So the hotel is great for a budget stay, especially if you don't need to be right in the old town.

+ tidy, clean, silence and peace + hot water and heating + new hairdryer + breakfast + location - both lamps by the bed not working - only 2 free electric sockets under the table - any electric socket near the bed - burnt chair probably from a cigarette

The hotel was comfortable, but the room chair was not. The room curtains doesn't cover the window, only partially, the drainage runs through the toilet room so you can hear every time the upstairs guests flush the toilet. The front desk staff was friendly and ready to help. The restaurant food was 1 out of 10.

Hi, I’m really disappointed due to the reasons below. • This hotel checkout time was 10am which should be 12pm to 2pm. •We have been told this hotel is 3km from centre but it was 9km. • Room were really hots also curtains were broken we asked them to fix it they said tomorrow and they didn’t fix it. • We parked our car in hotel parking and someone scratched our car, hotel parking aint safe. • Rude receptionist. Thanks

Satisfying for Short Stays
Furnitures are a bit old fashioned but the rooms were clean enough. Hot water may be a bit hotter in Bathroom. Room service was very satisfying and the Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was enough rich, and tasty. Location of the room was wonderful. Only 7 stops to city center. I would recommend this hotel when you visit Prag for touristic purposes.

Curtains do not cover the whole window. One lamp at the bedside table was working only by tightening the bulb. The entry to the shower was high and tight, i was afraid of an injury always making a step from the shower. Everything else was ok, hot water, heating, new hairdryer, breakfast.

The hotel is nice and kinda Dark maybe because of the season. The neighborhood is very quiet and safe. You have 5 minutes to walk to the tram or metro. But, they need to clean the room better, especially the rug, it looks like they do not clean it properly or constantly. But out of that it's a very nice place. Breakfast was good, they have variety except for fruit.

Friendly Front Desk - Maybe Consider New Cleaners
I stayed one night here for an early morning medical appointment. I'm glad it was only one night. When I arrived I was given the key to my room. I went to my room and the door was open. It became quite clear the room had not been cleaned and the only chair was missing from the room. I went back to the front desk and on my way I saw in another room the cleaning ladies were sitting back, relaxing and chatting away in one of the rooms. I smelled cigarette smoke. Were they smoking? Maybe it was a guest. The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful however and gave me a different room. The room was on the surface clean but when I looked deeper the walls had things on them that should have been wiped clean, the desk drawer was filled with hairs and garbage, the phone was caked with sticky dirt. Then the top sheet over a mattress topper was the only sheet changed and the other sheet covering the mattress was stained with dust and grime collecting in it. Then I looked in the bed and there were...pubic hairs. Yikes. Not just one but lots. Also the sheets had holes in them. I was worried about bedbugs. This hotel is adequate for what it is and conveniently located for my needs, but they really need to get new cleaners who take their job seriously.

Eine solide preisgünstige Übernachtungsmöglichkeit in Prag, gute Anbindung auch an ÖPNV - der Bahnhof Praha - Zahradní město ist fußläufig nur etwa 5 min und die Metro Station Skalka (grüne Linie A) 10 min entfernt. Die Zimmer sind sauber, das Bad war saniert. Das Frühstück ist ein warmes und kaltes Buffet, kontinental aber völlig ausreichend und lecker. Das Zentrum ist somit mit Metro oder dem Zug innerhalb von 15-20 min erreichbar.

Das Hotel liegt etwas außerhalb, ist aber, dank der nahen Trambahnstation relativ gut zu erreichen. Das inkludierte Frühstück war sehr lecker, die Auswahl in Ordnung.
