"We received many excellent recommendations for hiking and dining during check in and the person who checked us in was lovely. Our best meal was at a recommended restaurant and our favorite hike was their recommendation for taking a longer route from Riomaggio to Corniglia. The room was excellent, especially the terrace overlooking the harbor. I only took a star off for amenities because the hot water kettle needed a bit of cleaning and it would have helped to have a hand towel but everything else was fantastic. The daily tidying up and restocking espresso/biscuits was especially appreciated. I would imagine anyone traveling to Cinque Terre is aware of this but be ready for lots of stairs :) Highly recommend staying here for anyone looking for an authentic experience in Cinque Terre."

"We were so happy with Pensione Sorriso! We were greeted on our arrival, given lots of information about the hotel, and shown our room. The staff member was excellent. I believe her name was Elenora? She was so incredible and helpful Friday & Saturday. We saw her working so hard for every guest to make sure they were happy and had everything they needed. We were so impressed by her. We will come back here for future vacations. "

"Enjoyed 2 nights at the beautiful Atmosfere Guesthouse, and can’t recommend it enough. Check in was easy and super friendly, they even sent a follow up message the next morning to see if I needed anything! The little apartment was fresh, very clean, spacious, well equipped and super comfy bed! I’m on a longer trip and really appreciated a kettle and tea, as well as the lovely little kitchenette. But the icing on the cake was a small but efficient clothes washer, with detergent!!! After 3 weeks on the road hand washing, this was such a treat. La Spezia is a lovely little town, still very authentic, and excellent starting point for Cinque Terra. I can’t recommend both the town and Atmosfere enough. "

"The rooms were cute, clean, and well appointed, and the property was recently renovated. They have the most georgous rooftop views, as well as from our room. It wont let me upload photos, but trust me its amazing! The staff was also very nice. "
