Perfect getaway at the foot of the Beartooth Mountains!

Tatum's Haven is just that, a haven. This charming cabin is settled between two creeks with gorgeous mountain views all around. If you rent this cabin, you can sip your morning coffee and watch the deer, antelope, and wild turkey that frequent the property.

Just down the road from the cabin is an access to the Yellowstone River for fishing, rafting, and walking. There are two convenient entrances into Yellowstone from the cabin: the East Entrance through the historic town of Cody or the Northeast Entrance through the quaint towns of Red Lodge and Cooke City via the infamous Beartooth Byway or through Chief Joseph Scenic Byway.

The cabin itself is decorated with western flair and love of nature. The bedroom offers a queen bed and in the living room there is a upgraded leather furniture featuring a full-size futon for additional guests. The bathroom features a tub/shower combo. The home also has an attached one car garage and a washer and dryer for your convenience. The full-size kitchen is perfect to cook up breakfast and prep your picnic meal for the park. Other amenities include a Smart television, telephone for local calls (or calling card), and wireless internet. There are two decks, one in front and one in back with a charcoal grill.

Whether you are looking to explore Yellowstone and other local treasures or looking to enjoy nature and spectacular views, Tatum's Haven is the perfect place for your next getaway.

Quick Get-a-way
This cabin was very charming. It a good ways off of the main highway, quiet, peaceful, bountiful with wildlife, and great view of the beartooth mountains. It was nice to sit outside in the evening watching the sun set while listening to the running water in the creek. It is a bit of drive to Yellowstone from this cabin but there are other natural beauties near by as well. My only down thing about this property was the lack of pans to cook with. We prefer to cook our own food and there was only one 4 quart pot to cook with. It took some time and coordination for to cook a meal once we returned from sightseeing.

This was our 2nd stay at this property. It fits our needs well- it’s pet friendly ( they even had a blanket labeled dog blanket). There is a covered back porch which looks out to a gorgeous Mountain View which is the highlight for me. It’s very quiet- I don’t know how many acres but you don’t “feel” any neighbors. There are tv options (we did watch Thursday night football with the Chiefs) but other than that the tv remained off for us. There’s a very nice book selection including travel guides and novels as well as games. There is a garage but we did not use it but there are 3 grills in the garage from which to choose. The bed is a Queen and very comfortable. There is no closet in the bedroom but there is a dresser and a large closet off the living room to store your clothes and gear. It’s fairly close yo Cody and therefore Yellowstone. You cannot beat the scenery.

Great Getaway
Cabin was immaculately clean. We enjoyed the full kitchen and guest laundry. Area was quiet. Mule deer visit early in the morning. Only improvements/ suggestions would be to get the driveway paved or gravel put in. After it rained it was nearly impossible in a non 4WD vehicle. Also getting a smart tv or satellite. DVDs were a nice option as they had plenty of selection. Overall great stay.

Beautiful country side very private. Cabin clean and had everything you'd need for your stay. Was a little further than we thought to Yellowstone but the drive on 296 was well worth it, plus we weren't in a big hurry lol.

Underrated
We stayed 8 nights at the cabin. It had everything we need and we liked how quaint and off the road it was. We saw a variety of animals everyday and I loved sitting by the creek in the mornings with my coffee. Only downside that we can see is the AC is an indoor unit in the living room. The house warms up pretty good in the summer months but beyond that it is a perfect stay. It’s nicer than what’s shown in the photos as well which was a pleasant surprise . Perfect Location for us as well since we traveled to Cody and Yellowstone and up into the Beartooth area.

Not for cars.
The cabin was clean and nicely decorated. The only bed was too small for 2 adults. The driveway was a path from the road to the cabin, rough and rutted. I personally am glad I had a truck.

A true haven
Our family stayed at Tatum’s Haven and enjoyed our stay immensely! The cabin was quaint, and well thought out. Everything you needed was available. The area was so peaceful and had a stunning view! 360 degree Mountain View’s! The sounds you hear are birds and the babbling creek that runs through the property. We saw dear and turkey on the property in the mornings. I cooked almost every meal at the cabin and I appreciated the full size kitchen. We would definitely return! The only recommendation I would have is to re- gravel or grate the driveway. We were in a truck, so we didn’t bottom out, but a car would have most likely hit the underneath.

Clark’s fork cabin
Great 3 days. We visited Clark’s fork canyon just 5 min down the road and hiked to bridal veil falls. Absolutely gorgeous. Not to miss. Saw deer at the cabin. Very comfortable. Loved that there were spices and olive oil for cooking! Only needed to bring food. Very very clean and I am a bit of a nut that way. Probably cleanest place I have ever stayed. Even the corners were clean and that never happens. Loved that there was access to tv and movies esp for my teen who was ready for some technology on the last night of our stay. Very peaceful and safe.

Breathtaking
The pictures do no justice for this property. It was peaceful, we watched a hen turkey roost the first night with her babies and had mule deer every morning in the yard. The view was breathtaking, the sound of the creek running was perfect and take a right out of the driveway and head to a dead in between 2 mountains that is probably the most quiet place on earth. The cabin was fully stocked, all it required was groceries. We did pick up some sticks to make s’mores and left them for others to use. We will definitely be back! This place was perfect!!!

Gorgeous views!
We were pleasantly surprised with this property. The upkeep of the house outside worried us but as soon as we opened the door, that was gone! The house is beautiful inside. Nice open areas with a large kitchen. The house is equipped with all you need! Except, the power went out first night there at 830 and was out until around 10. There were no candles/matches or flashlights in the house. The location is a good 40 min out of town where you could even buy any. (Maybe for future issues supply the house-just in case!) With Wi Fi being out, we also had zero cell service (Verizon) to call anyone about the outage. Other than that, everything was as described. Views were incredibly gorgeous and the property is very private! We really enjoyed ourselves!
