"Chez Charitha is a lovely B & B in the centre of the pretty little town of Azay-le-Rideau, a couple of minutes’ walk from the chateau (well worth a visit). Charitha himself is the perfect host: welcoming, helpful and very generous. He greeted us with drinks and snacks (every welcome after a long drive), and gave us lots of helpful tips on restaurants, parking and places to visit. "Amazing value for money and location. Really well equipped apartments, spacious balcony and comfy beds. Kitchen didn't have any spare space for storing shopping to make the most of the self catering aspect, but we worked around it. Our apartment overlooked the car park but in fact, it was really quiet, not overlooked by other guests and our balcony had a grear view of the fortress."

"what a find clean and tidy inside a bit dated but nothing to worry about. Outside could definitely do with a cobweb sweep and the light fixed and the chairs in good condition one was broken when we git there. The site could do alot more perhaps a bit if entertainment etc and maybe a møre better takeaway although this didn’t stop is having a good holiday."
