"The home is a decent distance off the highway but the scenery you'll see while driving to it are gorgeous. On the first day, we saw 3 deer and 2 rabbits! The driveway is very steep and made of gravel, so keep that in mind when choosing what vehicle to bring. If it has been raining, your tires may slip a bit going up. "I couldn’t love this house more! The home is exactly as pictured. It is beyond clean, adorable decor, and so homey. The bed was super comfortable, and my dog loved the yard. 10/10 would stay here again!"

"Had a lovely time. House is great and beautifully furnished. Enjoyed all the rooms. Some suggestions: 1. the bunk bed room was freezing cold, might want to add a heat source 2. You should advertise that there are two refrigerators in the kitchen. We loved that, but we all brought large coolers for beverages and they weren’t needed. 3. Problem in the upstairs bathroom, the sink did not drain properly. May want to look at that immediately. 4. Those who used that upstairs bath suggested...

"I’m usually against VRBOs because staying at a hotel is fairly easy but with a new baby and a dog it’s hard to find a quiet hotel anywhere. This place was absolutely amazing. Perfect for everything we need, the hosts were very attentive to our needs and requests, the space was beautiful, and the views were even better. If you happen to pass through or are visiting make sure to stay here. I know my family will be back soon. "

"Our stay at the River House was everything we hoped it would be for our Thanksgiving visit. It’s a tranquil setting along the river and plenty of amenities for the kids and adults. Sharon and Bob are consummate hosts. We hope to stay again on our return visit. "

"Michael and Tatiana made my daughter and I feel so welcome! Plus we brought my three pups and my daughter’s pup no problem!! Their place has an amazing view of the mountains! They have sheep, pigs, bunnies, ducks made it fun to look out the window and see sheep grazing. Fresh duck eggs available the whole time. Place was very clean and had all we needed. Very homey!! I will rent again when I come back to see my brother and family. "

"We had a wonderful stay with our extended family at Jack and Mary’s Place. The house is one of the best VRBOs we’ve ever stayed in. It’s very well stocked and perfect for large groups. We loved looking at the river and being close to local attractions. Thanks for helping make our Thanksgiving so special."

"My mother and I wanted to visit the town where she was born and look for some clues to fill in the gaps in her family tree recording. This location was perfect, conveniently a block or so off of the main street but the trees and landscaping made it feel remote and secluded.
