"Solo black female traveller First time in Antigua Travelled in Dec close to Christmas I loved this small resort. I got the nice quiet, relaxing vacation I needed. The staff was super friendly and they gave me the room closest to the resort amenities which made me feel safe and cared for. Nobody was in my business asking why I was by myself. The most comfortable resort I've been to solo. Customer service was top notch. The cocktails at the bar were delicious and strong. The room was lovely. I loved that Netflix was already connected. The pool in the rooms are deeper than I thought. I'm 5'7" and the water reached above my eyes but there are wide steps and a shallow portion on top. There was no shower door/curtain in my room. I don't know if this is the case for all the rooms so check that inacse you're travelling with someone you don't want to see naked showering.There are birds that will dine with you for breakfast and lunch but they didn't bother me. Limited menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. You can request to take leftovers. They have some entertainment like live music but it's chill, quiet. They do have books and games. There's also a dock that has kayaks and seats. The views from the resort are beautiful. Check in and check out was quick and easy. They offer some excursions with affordable pricing. There's a shuttle to the beach or a 10 min walk which I do not recommend because it's hilly. There are snacks and soft drinks at the beach also. I will recommend!"

"Management (Mario) was superb in a personal crisis, customer service from restaurant staff and room staff was wonderful. The pool was amazing, as was the WiFi. Food choices were great, it has been a lovely holiday. The niggles: reception staff do not smile and could be officious. The fridge in the room was unstocked the whole time. You are given one tiny bottle of water you are expected to refill throughout the holiday, it was only a mouthful and not adequate when you can’t drink tap and there was nothing to drink at night from the fridge. I ended up getting a plastic 2 litre rum bottle and filling that up, so bring your own bottle/canteen. Plus Expedia advertise the holiday as all taxes included, they are not. $10 per room per night is payable as a tourist tax when you arrive. I knew about the tax prior but believed the marketing. The only reason I would give this hotel a bad review is because I don’t want more people to come here. I have stayed in luxury resorts on the island, this beat them all. The pool and view was amazing, and (most of) the staff so friendly. I would not hesitate to book again. "

Their sweet personalities and excellent service made every meal delightful. The hotel itself is a perfect sanctuary for celebration. I had professional photography done, explored some vibrant parties, and felt safe and secure throughout my entire stay—an essential factor for any traveler. Royalton Chic truly provides a safe and inviting environment for tourists, making it an ideal location for celebrating milestones like honeymoon. Ask for snow. "

"The property offers pristine views and for that I am so grateful. They were able to accommodate a last minute reservation because I decided to extend my trip a little bit and my previous resort did not have any availability. All staff were kind, helpful, and friendly so I truly felt like a valued guest. The room itself was reminiscent of 80s south beach Miami; it could use a renovation but for a night or two at the last minute it was perfectly acceptable. Cute little beach shard with the property next door. Access available to that property’s resto and bar as well. Would probably stay here again if I needed to; proximity to the airport is also a plus. "

"I very much enjoyed my stay in this resort. It’s very quiet and safe location so lots of opportunities to relax. My room was clean and quite comfortable.
