From the first night I wanted to write a detailed 5-star review- but now I worry that going too in-depth would spoil all the little things that are there waiting for the next guests to explore and discover. So I will just say this: If you have ever wanted to feel like you are actually inside of a feel-good, small-town hallmark movie- book this place. "

"We stayed two nights and loved it! It was clean, peaceful, comfortable, close to the river and close to Steeleville. Great attention was paid to all the details to provide everything guests might need during their stay. The bed was really comfortable which is always important to us, the bedding was great, the towels were thick and fluffy, and all the decor was so tasteful. The rooms are spacious and the only negative for us was that there was only one bathroom. We thought about inviting...

The TV was in the bedroom and we would have preferred it in the living area, but there really wasn't room there. I really liked the air conditioner/heater! We used both. All and all, I would recommend staying there and we may again. Very convenient location if you're planning on Elephant Rock state park."
