"I arrived late and wrote the facility while I kept ringing the doorbell for 5-10 minutes. No one responded. I waited outside for about another 5 minutes until another guest allowed me to walk in with her. I had luggage and was obviously not a likely burglar. No one was at reception. A few minutes later Edel walked in and registered me. The facility was OK, but there is no lock on the shared bedroom door and it is right across from reception. "The accommodation was good. Shared bathrooms were clean and so was the room. The only downside was neighbouring rooms playing videos loudly late into the night and with my room not being fully walled (i.e. walls were not ceiling height) so it made it difficult to sleep some nights. They need to enforce the quiet time rules more."

"The hostel has a good location, with a lot of dining options within walking distance. The staff were very friendly and I found the hostel to be both clean and comfortable to stay in. Sadly, there was a problem with the Wifi during my stay, and it caused me some problems."

"Process checking in is not reliable though expected to self checkin. Signed document attached is also not clear. Poor checkin. Once paid one should be able to access code immediately not last minute. Wi-Fi at reception poor. Won’t recommend the place. "

"A weight bench a one set of dumbbells is not a gym. I couldn’t vouch for access to the pool, because there was no one at reception during my checkin, checkout or stay. The signs say male showers are on each level but they are either on alternate levels. The showers are adequate but annoying that you have to exit the shower to turn them on. Suggestions, perhaps a shelf in the capsule to put charging devices on, and a towel. I thought towels were standard with ‘bedding supplied’ accommodation now!"

"I didn’t check there is no female room in the internet, so we stayed in the room with some guys first day. But fortunately, staff helped us to change another hostel next day. Really appreciate!!"

"You get what you pay for. Beds have no privacy, blanket is incredibly thin, there's little to no sound isolation, and to be honest the rooms smell kind of bad. Lots of disrespectful backpacker-type tourists, many of whom don't respect the rules (including taking off shoes). Would like to see rules better enforced, but it seems they don't have the staff for it. The good things are proximity to bus station and some decent restaurants nearby. When I arrived at my hostel, I am shocked by the amount of maids that was staying there as well (not that it matter) until the boss of these maids actually mistook me as one. And I arrived here early evening, being so tired I wish to have a quick nap without being disturbed. However, as I was sleeping, I was rudely woken up by this auntie asking me whether I am catherine or knew who catherine was. She didn't even say...

"Strange experience- no one at reception for check in but mail had been sent with details. 3 rooms on one floor- not sure if they were all dorms but only one bathroom for us to share which was a little annoying! Additional toilets downstairs but a bit out of the way. Some sheets were not changed on beds as other people checked out which I did not like. No one at reception for check out so we just had to leave. Overall strange set up but location was ok and cheap for Singapore "

"Excellent choice for both financial district and Marina Bay within easy walking distance. Rooms are spacious (for the price, compared with staying in Orchard area) and had a washer-dryer which is great for longer stays. Trains station entrance just outside hotel (covered walkway) with direct train to Orchard and Bugis. Nice food nearby at Lau Pa Sat, Marina Link Mall and Basement at Hong Leong. Overall convenient location."

"Love the location of this hotel. MRT station and bus stop close by. Huge shopping mall with many restaurants within walking distance. Friendly and helpful staff. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. I will stay here again."

"We ordered a fish&chips on the swimming pool, caught by the rain, tried to take back to room, but the bowl couldn’t take away which was reasonable. We just back to the room with no issues.And hotel rang us and prepared another take away fish&chips and send to our room. Appreciate for the consideration and taking care of us for such a small thing. Strong recommend, kid has kid’s slippers and and own bathrobe. Start loving Ritz Carlton "

"Everything about this hotel is amazing! For sure I will be back. The service was 5 star, all my concierge requests exceeded expectations. Our check in with Tech was so wonderful we felt the warmth and welcome. The property was extremely beautiful and modern. And we absolutely love our room, the bed was so comfortable. "This property was beautiful, the lobby was the main attraction. The rooms were spacious compared to other hotels. Andy at the front desk went above and beyond during our stay. The property is perfectly located and accessible to marina bay square on the 5th level which has all sorts of food halls and shopping. With easy indoor access to Suntec city. Our room faced the front of the building which did not provide the best views but it had views of the other tall buildings which were just as beautiful. The addition of the viewing corner behind the balcony provides hours of daydreaming. For better views, there is the pool area which extends the views to marina bay sands and unobstructed views of other surrounding buildings. "
