Amazing stay
This place is even better than in the pictures. It has the most amazing views, great amenities, and host Vito was very responsive and gave great recommendations for things to do in the area. Would highly recommend to anyone traveling with a large group.

Incredible setting for a wonderful vacation!
My group of 10 loved staying here! A huge and spacious villa. Everyone had their own bed and our three separate families even had separate quarters- but close together so that we were able to cook and enjoy a family meal together! The host family, particularly Vito, was very helpful and accommodating. They provided us with some complementary products of the villa garden and chickens. Waking up each morning and being able to sit on the balcony, overlooking the sea and the town below, and just enjoy a cool breeze, wonderful view and some breakfast complements of Vito and his family. The villa is incredibly well appointed (and with wonderful air conditioning!!). The walk to town is beautiful and also a good workout. Anyone with mobility challenges should give themselves time to navigate the stairs to/from the road and for those not wanting to exert themselves, cabs are easy with generally a 15 minute notice when you call. Positano is beautiful and Villa Punta del Sol is an equally beautiful home base from which to enjoy it. Highly highly recommended!

Great Stay at Villa Punta Del Sole
Villa Punta Del Sole was the perfect place for our large group to spend a week on the Amalfi coast. Vito and his family were warm, welcoming and very helpful. We coordinated with Vito and his mum cooked us a beautiful dinner the first night we arrived! It was a favorite meal among many in our group during our entire stay. The location is a little bit outside of the town which felt more peaceful and a nice place to relax. I would recommend staying here to anyone visiting Positano!

Amazing views and great property!
We were a group of 6 and had an amazing stay. The property was beautiful and very comfortable. Be ready for steps, but it is Positano! Vito communicated with us, and made sure we had everything to make our stay relaxing and perfect. We also had a dinner prepared by Vito and family one night and it was absolutely delicious! I highly recommend this property!

This place is awesome
We went to Positano with three other couples. The set up was perfect. Vito is great and very helpful. The views are amazing. Not hard to get a taxi into town and back. Walking is a great workout in Positano!

The property is amazing with breathtaking views. Plenty of space for a large family. We loved it so much that my family is already planning a return visit. This family cooked for us, taught us how to make amazing pizza, and took professional photos. This is an experience you cannot duplicate. Amazing!!!!!

Beautiful villa
The villa was beautiful. We liked the location just on the edge of town, but you could walk, although a bit of a hike. Lots of hills and stairs. There are many stairs down to villa, but we knew that and were prepared. Vito is a fantastic host. Made us feel so welcome. Mom’s homemade dinner was great. The kitchen is well stocked and had basic provisions for the next morning, so you don’t have to go directly to store upon arrival. We enjoyed everything about our stay. Only 4 of us, but can easily accommodate 8.

Wonderful vacation in Positano
Our stay in Positano with my family of four at Vito's place was fantastic! The location is beautiful with a view from several of the rooms to the Mediterranean. The poll was a nice place to cool off after the warm days. Vito and family were very hospitable and helpful. I felt they went the extra mile every time we had a question or needed something. It is clear that they very much enjoy having guests at their place. During our stay we enjoyed many attractions in the area, including several of the nearby cities, boating, incredible food and shopping. I hope I get to stay there again soon. Thank you Vito!!

Family vacation in Positano
So pleased that we chose Puenta Del Sole for our Vacation on the Amalfi coast, the Fusco family were welcoming, accommodating and helpful with all our questions...thank you Vito, Franco and of course Mama Maria We were a family of nine, so lots of room to spread out. The beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped. We felt very safe, and never worried about locking the doors. The Fusco family hosted a pizza night, it was more than just pizza, Maria and the ladies cooked up some Italian dishes . All so very delicious. We rented a private boat from Positano to Capri, the Captain we had was awesome...a must do when you are there. It was a great week in Positano, two weeks would have been much better. Again our thanks to the Fusco family for their hospitality

Great villa for a family vacation!
The villa is spacious with many levels, so the 8 of us - my husband and I, our three grown daughters and their husband/significant others have plenty of room to move around, and privacy as needed. The views are amazing as the villa is high on the side of mountain. The kitchen in the main apartment was well equipped and we had a lot of fun preparing three dinners during the week’s stay. We also enjoyed the pool very much, especially after a day out and walking up the steps back from Positano town center. Vito had good recommendations on restaurants and grocery stores. We had a memorable cooking class at Casa Mele and an incredible day along the Amalfi Coast and to Capri in a private boat tour by BlueStar Boats, both recommended by Vito. Another highlight of our stay was the pizza party hosted by Franco and Giovanni, who showed us how pizzas should be made. The only gripe I had with the near perfect family vacation was the heat wave that swept Europe during our time there.

Fabulous & Stunning!
My mom (bless her heart) booked this villa for three weeks through August and September. She always dreamed of a family vacation with all of her kids and grandchildren (18 of us). We all spread out our time and came and went with my mom staying the entire time. The villa is just beautiful, very spacious and clean. Vito and his family were wonderful and very helpful whenever we needed anything from car service and food suggestions. His mom gave us bottles of homemade limoncello that was put to good use...lol. The pizza party was a favorite and highly recommend that. You can cook your own meals as the kitchen is well stocked with pans, plates, silverware etc. or walk into town and take a taxi back......be prepared for stairs, stairs and more stairs. To be expected and we made it fun. On lazy nights we could walk a short distance and grab a panini and espresso from a food truck just down the road. Open late! Anyway, I could go on forever about this wonderful villa......... Thanks for everything Vito & Family! Hope we make it back. You were the best.

Fun fabulous villa
What a gem this villa is and the Fusco family are! We were a party of 12, 5 kids 7 adults and we couldn’t have wished for a better place to stay. We arrived early but Vito was very accommodating and allowed us to use the pool area while we waited. The villa’s location is fabulous with views from almost every room, and plenty of outdoor space including a pool, which is rare to find in Positano. On our arrival we discovered that Vito had stocked the fridge with beer, wine and soft drinks not to mention the gin, whiskey, aperol etc (for purchase) which was a really nice touch, oh and we also took advantage of the offer of a keg of beer, nothing better than a cold draft beer on a hot sunny day. Vito also came over in the afternoon to give us a rundown of the best places for groceries, restaurants and taxi service which was very helpful. Like others have said it’s a trek down some 900 odd steps to Positano and sometimes we didn’t want to trek up, which wasn’t a problem as the buses and taxis are plentiful, oh and the villa has a deal with a couple of taxi companies that will only charge you €40, which is much better than the €80 we were often quoted. I have to mention the highlight of our stay which was the pizza party with the Fusco family, such a lovely nice welcoming and fun people, we had a blast that night, as we did many other nights too😉 Just a big thank you to Vito and his family 🙏 Tony

Amazing!
Punta del Sole is perfect. My family and I had an incredible time visiting Positano, Sorrento, Pompeii, etc. and Vito’s home is the perfect place to stay! We would walk to town and back (the steps are a thing, for sure! But my 77 year old mother was able to do it, albeit slowly). There’s a bus stop just up the road, and taxis are available as well. One night we took advantage of a local restaurant’s shuttle service. The house is quintessential Italian villa. The kitchen is well appointed and what we didn’t have, Vito brought to us. It was too chilly to swim, but the pool was lovely and very clean- in fact, the entire property is clean and very well-maintained. The view is to die for. Sitting out of the porch, watching the sun rise and set, listening to the sheep, taking in the smells of all the flowers will never be forgotten. Vito and his family give you privacy, but are there to help when needed. They also provide a dinner for a fee, which we didn’t take advantage of because we all love cooking, but I would recommend. I would go back in a heartbeat and would stay nowhere else! The homemade limoncello and fresh eggs were the perfect way to be greeted upon our arrival. Thank you, Vito, and family!

Heaven on earth!
What can I say about this villa and it’s location! It’s unlike anything we have ever experienced. The villa is nestled into the mountain side. The villa is exactly how it looks in the pictures. The views from the Villa are incredible regardless of the weather. During one of the days of ours stay it rained, and I enjoyed watching the rain from the windows. Vito and his entire family along with the animals (dog Ava and sheep) are incredibly sweet. The first day of our trip we be requested dinner from the menu that Vito provided. We are so happy we did that because not only the food was amazing. It lasted us for a few meals. We also requested a pizza party for our kids at the Villa. That was an incredible experience for my kids. They will cherish that memory forever. Making pizza in Italy with an Italian family, what more can you ask for? My kids ages nine and 11 loved climbing stairs in the Villa and in Positano. Vito recommended a taxi service for us to use from the airport and back, which was very helpful. We did a few excursions during our stay. Pompeii was a big bucketlist item that we were able to do. It was only an hour and a half away from the Villa. We spent four days exploring Positano and one day in Amalfi. Most days, we walk down from the villa to the city center or the beach spend the day in Positano city and then catch a Taxi back to the Villa. The villa was close enough to the Positano town center, but far enough from the hustle, and bustle which we appreciated.

Fantastic Property for our Positano stay
This was the perfect property for our large group. We had 12 people in our party and there was still an unused studio on the property. It was the perfect view of the Positano cliffs and neighboring cities. The mother (She was amazing!) of the owners brought a fresh apple pie, homemade wine and mandarincello. There were fresh herbs and tomatoes from the on site garden when we arrived. Just a great Italian villa with a country feel. The kitchen was large enough to host a private cooking class and the outdoor deck outside the kitchen was the perfect place to enjoy our meal. The pool was clean and ready for use. I just wish it wasn't early April so we could have enjoyed it more. Also, the outdoor Pizza oven gets cranking in the warmer months. I might travel The only downside to the amazing property is it's about a 5 minute/$25 cab ride or 20 minute walk from the main area of Positano. Two secrets we learned. Most restaurants provide a free shuttle so plan your meals in to town ahead of time. The other, there are two restaurants on the cliffs in walking distance from the house. 1 in each direction. They're a little hidden so map it out before you start. Also note, the owner and his brothers were always ready to help when it came to arranging transportation so definitely use them as a resource. Loved the trip and I'd recommend this place to anyone that needs more than two rooms for their Positano stay.

A Most Magnificent Vacation Home
We stayed at Villa Punta Del Sole in Positano during the last week of June and had a marvelous time with our entire family of 11. The housing arrangement was perfect for us. It had 3 distinct areas, and since we had 3 distinct families, it suited us well. The main house has 3 bedrooms plus the kitchen, eating area, living room, 2 bathrooms, and a huge deck. The weather was warm, but the house has air conditioning in all the bedrooms, so we slept very comfortably. The beds and pillows were comfy and the house was well equiped in every way. The house is located on the side of a mountain which allows for the stunning view of the sea. Naturally, there are steps which one must use to get in and out of the property. The view is the prize for the walk! Our ages ranged from 4 to 74, and we all were able to do well with this arrangement. The host family went way beyond our expectations: they were there to explain every question we had, and happily, they were close by, directly beneath us. They came up when invited and were so kind to host a pizza party for our and their families. The kids got to make their own pizzas, with help from Franco. Giovanni wielded the oven paddle. What a splendid way to get to know an Italian family! That opportunity doesn't come often, and when it does, it brings a great measure of fun. We even had some dancing! Thank you Vito, Franco, Giovanni, Ana, Paula and sisters, and to Mama who brought up some terrific sons! Would we stay there again? In a heartbeat!! Terry and Gloria (the 74-year-olds)

Amazing Villa, Amazing town, Amazing visit!!
Vito and family are simply wonderful hosts. Upon our arrival, we were invited to partake in Vito's birthday party, with his family and friends, and enjoy Vito's home made pizzas! Just one more example of the warmth of Italy and its people that we experienced many times on our once in a lifetime journey! This villa is AMAZING!! Located just outside the edge of town, high upon the cliffs, the views are to die for. The property itself is beautiful, as mama and auntie spend time everyday tending the many plants and flowers! The pool is clean and well appreciated on warm days. We were a party of ten; two couples with three children each, ranging in age from 15 to 22. Vito and his mom made sure the rooms were set up so that we were all comfortable. The villa was clean and comfortable with everything we needed! I personally loved walking into town each day, taking the many steps and narrow, curving, interesting pathways that always led to a beautiful sight. My legs never looked better, which was good when we hit the beach in our suits! (I highly recommend the smaller beach and its restaurant) There are plenty of parking garages and cabs, if you prefer not to walk. Our kids wanted to see Pompeii, which was an easy car ride from the Villa with our GPS. Our entire group went to Capri via private boat from Positano, which was fabulous. Vito has all kinds of "insider" information, which only those who live in Positano can advise and he was happy to do so. We drove our rented vans to the villa with no safety issues. The kids did have trouble getting WI-FI, but I was happy for it, as they spent more time talking to each other and to be honest, we were on the go most of the time anyway. My only complaint is that we didn't get to spend more time here. Positano is positively breathtaking and Villa Punto Del Sole Positano was a wonderful "home" in which to enjoy it! I hope to return, someday. Thank you, Vito!! (sorry for the delay in my review!)

Wonderful hosts but a challenging stay for older guests
Three couples, ages ranging from 65 to 83, rented the villa for two weeks in late September and early October2017. The villa is located at the edge of Positano making it too far for us to walk to anything. We needed to call cabs or drive to get to town, grocers, restaurants, the beach, etc. Cabs are quite expensive and driving is a hassle because parking is at a premium in Positano. There is parking at the villa, but your space would most likely be gone when you returned. There is a grocer who delivers and a few restaurants have shuttles which we used and were pleased with both the service and the meals. The villa is located on the side of a cliff. We underestimated the difficulty of having to walk up and down the many steeply inclined steps. We do not recommend this villa for guests our age, especially if they have any difficulty with stairs. Our accommodations were comfortable (except some of the beds) and of course the views are spectacular, which is the case throughout the Amalfi Coast. We rented the three bedroom, two bath apartment with a nice living room and kitchen. We also had the "game room" located at the lower part of the villa property which unfortunately was sterile with limited views. We spent much time outside on the main house veranda enjoying the view and weather. Unfortunately, the flies were incessant and many times drove us inside. This mainly occurred when we tried to eat outside or lounge at the pool. We did not experience flies anywhere else in Positano, including outside restaurants. We suspect the two sheep and chickens kept at the villa may have contributed to the quantity of flies. Vito said September is a bad month for flies. The Fusco family, who own and live at the villa, are wonderful hosts. Vito and Franco, sons of Maria, are very helpful with suggestions as where to dine, get groceries, local sights, etc. they also carried our luggage down to the villa and back up to the car which we would have found almost impossible to do ourselves. One evening the family hosted a home made pizza dinner. Maria made eggplant parmesan and they served home made wine. It all was delicious and a highlight of our stay. In summary, the villa is better suited to younger people who don't mind the stairs and long walks into Positano. The Fuscos are warm, friendly hosts who want to make your visit a wonderful experience. The accommodations are comfortable and modestly furnished and the scenery is spectacular.

we found a very small space in the reservations while we were on holiday in Sorrento. We tried in every way to book the villa a year in advance but it is always fully booked and as soon as this opportunity arose we took it. It is a wonderful, familiar place run by special people. Here you can still live an authentic experience. It is not in the centre (2 km) but honestly for us it was the best thing. We were in the tranquility and in the evening we went out for dinner in one of the restaurants that offers the free shuttle service. This is a special place

Positano Punta Paradise
This property is so unique and different. Enjoyed that the location was just close enough to walk to everything but far enough that you can get away from the touristy areas. Vito was great with communication and even helped us with all of our luggage. Our favorite was the pizza night which was not only delicious but also felt authentic Italian family night. We rented the whole house and it was divided up into three sections. Stairs are everywhere. Not only at this villa but all around Positano. We had a small ant situation but was cleared up quickly. Host response was great. Don’t hesitate staying here. Amazing!

Our entire group really enjoyed staying at this property. The views were amazing. Short walk to town. Family owned and operated. Wonderful common areas for everyone to get together. The host gave all us the info we needed since this was our first time in Italy for locations, excursions, transportation, events, etc. We definitely recommend this property for your vacation !
