"The room still smells fresh and new. Heated bathroom floor with good quality cotton of the towels. Aircon max set up is 23C but housekeeping came with portable heater as it was very cold (5C) in May when I stayed there. Location is perfect - only 100m from the arrival exit."

Do not get the two `Scandic Grand` hotels confused as I did, it involved a bit of extra walking (my fault) The hotel is very convenient to the Viking Line terminal. It has a gym and sauna which was enjoyable. Very good room and helpful staff although the front desk can get backed up from time to time. "

"Hotel Helka has everything you could want for a comfortable stay in Helsinki. The breakfast buffet is excellent, and there is a fridge and microwave available to guests. Getting into town is walkable via the old railway line which runs along the middle of the street, or there are frequent trams which stop nearby. The bar is a quiet but friendly space to hang out in the evening after a busy day. The best thing though is the sauna 🤗 free to use mornings and evenings. Highly recommended."
