Dalzie Apartment, Peinmore House

Dalzie apartment is in the wing of a former manse built in 1809. It was upgraded with the idea of making any guest feel exceptionally comfortable.
There are all the modern accessories you might expect to be self contained. Fully integrated kitchen which is open plan to the living room with comfortable room for dining.
There is even a piano along one of the walls!
There is plenty of parking and you are in a great location to be able to explore all the Island has to offer.
The bathroom is considerable in size, with separate shower and bath, room enough to relax.
We regularly get feedback that people sleep in the bed as well or if not better than their own beds!
The manse it's self has a walled garden with a little "burn" (stream) in it and there is a feeling of tranquility about.
Come and sample it, we would love you to have a delightful visit to Skye and Dalzie will certainly help with that.

Fantastic Stay
As we settled in on the first night of our stay, we both said “ we could live here!” Wonderful apartment. Super comfortable and a huge bathroom with wonderful water pressure. Best shower in Scotland! Worth every penny.

enjoyed our stay
we had a lovely experience and would stay again. the staff dug the snow out the drive so we could get out and enjoy some walks. the place was very clean and we were able to cook easily enough. i would recommend it as a great base to explore the area.

Perfect place for a couple
My partner and I stayed in Portree for 4 days and loved having the kitchen in this apartment to cook out meals in as finding restaurants in Portree, even in October, was difficult. The apartment is very large and clean and we enjoyed spending our time in the evenings relaxing in the huge living room. Would definitely stay again.

Amazing, Spacious, Comfortable
We loved our stay at Dalzie! What a great location. It was very quiet but still close to Portree and the main attractions. So comfortable and just a fantastic place to spend a few days (especially when the weather is not great)! Kitchen was great with a nice big fridge. It was perfect for us.

A Hidden Gem
This property is absolutely beautiful and we highly recommend it to anyone wanting a property that is warm, cozy, spacious and so very well equipped for a few days stay. It’s just a short drive into Portree and a great base to explore the Isle of Skye. The bed is super comfortable and the bathroom is huge. You won’t want to leave this most comfortable property. A real ‘gem’!

Wonderful Stay
This adorable property is a perfect location for hikes all over Isle of Skye, and close enough to grab dinner in Portree in the evenings (I suggest getting a reservation in advance!) It was spacious, roomy and the best 2 nights of rest we got on our 7 day trip! The wine and laundry pods were a wonderful touch! We had an issue with the oven, which was quickly resolved by the kind property manager. It was late but she was very helpful and responsive to our issue. I wish we had stayed here longer, as it was my favorite location and favorite place we stayed during our trip. We would return here in a heartbeat!

Adorable cottage and wonderful hideaway
This property will not disappoint, from the moment you walk in the door you feel welcome with the lamps on, plus the heating, it gives you a big hug as you walk down the hallway. So many little details make this cottage so adorable with the artwork everywhere, a bottle of wine on the table, cushions and bed linen and not to mention the courtyard and colourful flowers. The birds and the sheep also add to the atmosphere of this beautiful accommodation. We loved the time we spent here and would definitely come back if we returned to Skye.

Wonderful place to stay as a base to visit Skye.
The property was as advertised. The bed was comfortable and the apartment was clean. Check in was easy and seamless. We did have an issue with the oven not working so it would have been useful to have some sort of manual for the property. Perhaps we just didn’t see it. Overall a great experience.
