The apartment is ideally equipped for holidays, its wide openspace with sleeping loft and the twin-bed room have large windows bring the outdoors in. Two large and huge terraces protect from the surrounding chaos and dominate the highly colorful landscape of the garden with Mediterranean pine trees, holm-oaks, myrtles and bouganville flowers.
The private park has a very scenic staircase where you can reach the sea, enjoy a peaceful swim, go snorkeling, canoing or sailing around.
Buganville Portovenere Holiday Home description:: The original building is dated 1960, after the complete redesign in 1976 the apartment has been constantly renewed and offers a great and comfortable spatial flexibility.
A very well organized open-space where light air circulation assure a natural cooling, holds a fully equipped living and dining area, a large double sofa-bed plus a double bed on the loft reachable with a wooden stair.
The apartment is supplied with a functional cooking area and equipped with dishwasher, induction kooking surfaces, microwave/grill oven, fridge and freezer. Next to this a separate room with two navy style beds together with a big and capacious wardrobe. The bath-room with shower box, washbasin and bidet is completely faced with natural slate stone.
The apartment is also equipped with wifi , Sonos Play1 home sound system ,chess, playing cards, and absolutely no television. The lower terrace offers a dining table for 6 Weber BBQ and two super-comfortable Lafuma Relax Reclining Chair Lounger (see photos).

From La Spezia highway exit (A12 Genova-Livorno or A15 Parma-La Spezia) you can easily reach Portovenere peninsula by car following roadsigns to Via Provinciale (SP 530 near La Spezia Stadium).
Portovenere has almost no free parks. Public Paying Car Park is divided into high cost parkings (roadside) and a big cheaper parking area (200 mt. far from the house).From June 2 to September 30 A free shuttle Bus runs from 10am to midnight all round Portovenere peninsula.
MUST-see in Portovenere and surroundings:: The Village born on the ruins of the Roman foundation Portus Veneris is an important cultural centre. Here you can admire the Doria castle, and two church: the proto-Romanesque St Peter, and St Lawrence with Romanesque and Gothic elements.
Portovenere, Palmaria Tino and Tinetto islands, together with the other village of Cinque Terre is an UNESCO World Heritage Center, a Marine Reserve and a National Park.
