"Wir hatten 2 wunderschöne Wochen in Ansedonia. Schon in der Vorbereitungsphase haben Ronald und Carey so warm und großartig mit uns kommuniziert. Das Haus selbst wird auch von der Familie übers Jahr genutzt, was in Ferienhäusern immer ein echtes Plus bedeutet: Die Küche war top ausgestattet, man findet alles was man braucht, viele private Dinge schaffen eine heimelige charmante Atmosphäre, Bücher, Fotos und vieles mehr. Der Blick von beiden Terrassen ist atemberaubend schön, die Sonne geht jeden...

"We stayed in this villa for 14 nights. For the first 3 days we had huge issues with the electrical system, which is very old. This caused frequent an lengthy outages, which means no air conditioning or electrical fans…The villa is nice but it has not been renovated, and it is basically falling into pieces, which is a shame given the nice location."

"Zufahrt, übelster Schotterweg 1 km steil bergauf. Mit Audi A6 mehrmals aufgesessen. Bungalow war für uns nicht beziehbar. Ziehmlich unhygenisch vieles kaputt und eklige Möbel. Die Agentur hat uns nach öfteren telefonieren dann auf der Straße sitzen gelassen. Mussten uns dann eigenmächtig ein Hotell suchen um nich auf der Straße zu schlafen. Wenigstens bekamen wir unser Geld wieder. Katastrophe nie wieder."

There is access (by car) to the private (!) beaches of Scorpaciate and La Canelle (only 5 minutes drive; private parking and beach front dining) and to the Sassi Verde beach right below the house (well accessible by foot via a narrow downhill...

"Wir waren vollauf zufrieden. Die Wohung war dank Fliegengittern an allen Türen und vielen Fenstern stechmückenfrei, die Küche war gut ausgestattet und der Garten drum herum bot viele Möglichkeiten zum Spielen für die Kinder. Eine ganze Kiste voll Spielzeug und die Tischtennisplatte ließen keine Langeweile aufkommen. Die Vermieterin wohnt im Haus und ist sehr hilfsbereit. In der näheren Umgebung gibt es jede Menge Ausflugsziele, die auch in einem Ordner mit allen Flyern und Telefonnummern...

"The property itself is beautiful and provides expensive views of the sea. However, within five minutes of our arrival, we were asked if we needed towels )um, yes?). We were then charged 10 euro for a few threadbare towels. The screens were taped together and ineffective against mosquitoes. We were told not to drink the tapwater at the cottage and not even one small bottle of water was provided to hold us over until we could get back to town. Cottage needs maintenance and minimal stocking."
