"This is a very good hotel and well worth repeat visits. In the hills with outstanding views. To go to the village or seaside resorts down the hill you need to use a car. Long distance, narrow and no footpath makes walking impossible. The local bus service should be avoided. Infrequent and I have been on more comfortable roller coasters. Relaxing Location but No Wi-fi

"I am very happy with the stay. Very clean, sunny, warm and surprisingly walkable. Just a short walk down the hill and there's a pharmacist, newsstand and the beach. There's a very nice path along the coast to nearby cafe, restaurant and a tiny mini golf course. A little further on the same path you can get to other restaurants and cafes. I highly recommend staying here. My only tiny issues were there was some confusion between the listing as I thought there was wifi but there is none. There was also instructions to call 30 minutes before arriving in which I was given a different address from the listing to avoid a bad road. "

Great location and garden with seaview

"We felt very welcome, the flat was equipped with everything we needed, we were greeted by Antonella with tomatoes and figs from her garden, as well as advice about the surroundings. The garden was great for breakfast and dinner with shady spots morning and evening. The flat is located in a historic building in a small town up on the hills about 7 minutes by car from Santo Stefano with a nice free beach and some nice restaurants."

Schöne Residenz in den Bergen

"Wir haben uns in der Wohnung sehr wohl gefühlt, vor allem da sie wirklich sauber war. Die Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin war unkompliziert und auch das Ein- und Auschecken problemlos. Die Nachbarschaft ist hilfsbereit und freundlich, was unseren Urlaub noch zusätzlich verschönert hat."

Above Expectations

"I have elected to give this property full marks just to balance out some of the negative reviews that I felt were overly harsh. Some of the comments did inspire a lot of scepticism, but I took a chance on account of the great daily rate and didn’t regret it. My family decided to cross over to the Italy side and had a great time here. It’s not Nice or Cannes, it’s just a very low key place to decompress with the kids. The property itself is old and could use a facelift, but at least the staff tries their best to keep the place clean and functional. Being from North America we are accustomed to certain comforts and convenience. But this is classic Europe and you have to align your expectations and not act like a bunch of pretentious New Yorkers. Parking is free and there is an onsite laundromat for 5 euros."
