Perfect location
Perfect location to explore Vila Nova da Gaia and Porto and it includes a free parking spot in the parking garage right across the street! We had a minor issue with a doorknob that came off, but the owner responded and fixed it right away. We highly recommend this property.

The location of this property was fantastic and all communications with the owners were very quick and accomodating. Both bedrooms could definitely use some drawers or even pegs on the wall as there is no place to store your belongings or even hang a wet bath towel but other than that the property was good.

Just perfect!
This location was perfect to explore both sides of the river. Walking distance to anything you need. Property exactly as described, hosts were very attentive to our needs. Nothing against the property but, if you cant handle a little street noise at night, you may not enjoy it. Wasnt a problem for us. Thank you for sharing your space with us!

You can access Porto via short walk across the bridge. We cooked breakfast one morning and had a great dinner on the Porto side. Highly recommend this location!

Excellent location
Great place to base yourself during a Porto visit. Located walking distance to the port lodges in Gaia. An easy short walk across the bridge and you are in Porto. Space is nice with all the needed amenities. Convenient complimentary parking if you are driving. Highly recommend.

Great location, met the host who was very friendly. The apartment was dirty. There was used soap in the shower. Lots of dust on baseboards. The fridge needed defrosting. There were only two large towels and no where to properly dry them. The curtains looked dirty and blinds were worn out. Furniture was just okay. It lost rating for cleanliness and furnishings.

Great Stay!
This property was a great fit for my family. We felt comfortable and at home. The location is wonderful. There is so much to be seen and explored. All within walking distance. The parking space was a plus and so was the complimentary bottle of port wine. Check-in was easy and the hosts were kind and responsive. We'd love to stay again in the near future.

Wonderful Visit to Porto
Paulo and Maria provided another lovely vacation spot. This is the second time I have stayed here. Vera, who checked us in, was super! The location of their house cannot be beat! The view of the river from the front windows is spectacular! Thank you.

Perfect Porto Stay
Paulo and Maria were wonderful hosts! There is a window in the kitchen and in one of the bedrooms that look over the Douro River. It is a fabulous view. The property is right on the river in Gaia… lots of restaurants within 5 minutes, and you can walk over the bridge and be in Porto in 4 minutes. The location could not have been better for my stay. The hosts were very easy to get in touch with. If you go, visit San Marino restaurant in Gaia and take a water color class from Hugo do Lago…. such an amazing experience.

Beautiful river views, congenial hosts and easy access to all of Porto, what more could you want!?! Maria and Paulo are excellent hosts with a great property and you will be hard pressed to find a better place to stay on the Gaia side.

Great location, great stay
We had a great stay a Vila Nova de Gaia. Apartment is ideally situated, clean and confortable for 2 couples. If you have a car, the free and secure parking adds a huge value. You'll just park your car there and walk for the rest of your stay. It has a great view and is close to restaurant and anything you'll want to visit. Porto city center is only a short walk away (15min) but you'll have to go up some stairs as the apartment is down by the river. The Teleférico de Gaia is also available the reach the top. For the light sleepers, make sure to bring some ear plugs as the area surrounding the apartment is quite noisy at night. Overall, we had a great stay and we would definitely recommend this apartment.

The location is perfect...you are steps from the waterfront and port houses. The apartment is clean and modern with enough room for 4 as each bedroom has its own bathroom. Very thoughtful gift of port and chocolates left for us. Highly recommend
