Tastefully renovated suite is in a prime location for both travels to Downtown/East Side Portland & Beaverton/Hillsboro.

Beneath our primary residence, consisting of a King Bed, 50" Smart TV, Wet Bar (with fridge & coffee maker), Luxury bathroom with a full sized Tub and separate Stand up Shower & Heated Floors, Full Wireless Internet, Desk, Black out Blinds.

Guest access:

Guest will have their own private driveway and a private fenced sitting area outside the unit.

Perfect for what we needed.
My Mom and I needed a place to stay for a couple days that was close to OHSU. This location is perfect. It is in a quiet neighborhood and we felt much safer than staying in a hotel. Their home is beautifully set up and had everything we needed for our stay. Thank you to our host Whitney and Jon for creating this cozy rental space.

Very Nice Place
I was very comfortable staying there nightly after attending the Olympic track and field trials in Eugene. The morning bath in the tub was a great way to start each day. Quick drives to get food, coffee, food trucks and Powell bookstore. I loved the locations. I would definitely stay there again!!!

Perfect little stopover
This was perfect for my son and I. The location is so convenient to Winterhawks skating rink where he plays hockey. It was spotlessly clean, with everything we could want provided, easy parking, and easy check in. We will definitely stay here again when we're in town!

Mother’s Day weekend grtaway
As a Portland native, finding the best accommodations in the Canyon Road area was a priority for our long weekend. We couldn’t have found a nicer place. Just the two of us so we had plenty of room with a lovely tile bath, and a nicely appointed kitchenette. It was not the day we arrived so we were grateful for the AC. Easy to find too. We will definitely be back!

This place was just as described and the hosts were great at responding to all our questions. Great location for a conference I had to attend. Additional chocolates were a nice touch. Shower pressure was great and comfy bed! Will stay here again!

The unit was very clean and comfortable. I especially enjoyed the awesome water pressure in the shower!! :) The neighborhood is very nice. I would definitely stay here again when I visit Portland.

Comfortable, Convenient and Well Appointed
Comfortable bedding, well appointed kitchen area and bathroom made this a great place to stay while in Portland. The driveway, large patio and entrance are private. The neighborhood is lovely for walks and very convenient to the city of Portland and equally convenient to Beaverton. It loved up to the listing!

We stayed at Whitney’s place during the airline cancellation mess. Whitney was incredibly kind and flexible to help make our trip possible. The property is immaculate and in a very nice neighborhood. Highly recommend!

Nice little basement hideaway
Pretty easy to find and get into. Outdoor area could use a few little repairs but nice and private. We did hear kiddos/people upstairs and piano playing a few times, but wasn’t disruptive at all. Opened the door a few times to get the musty smell out after being gone a while…it did get hot and was very muggy outside while we were there. Hideaway stayed cool and was very comfortable overall. Perhaps some new chairs by the table, those were not comfy so we didn’t use them. Great communication and would definitely stay there again!! Bed super comfy and shower was great too. :)

Perfect location for a short stay in Portland
If you need to cook, this won’t be the place for you. The unit doesn’t have a freezer, oven, or stovetop. It does have a toaster oven and microwave. The patio is a lovely spot to rest up after a busy day. Hosts are super! This location was perfect for us!.

Wonderful
We had a fantastic experience staying here. The house is in a beautiful neighborhood and the apartment has its own off-street driveway. The fenced-in courtyard area is very peaceful, the entry is flat and easy, and the inside is clean and beautiful. Just like everybody else says, the bathroom is awesome. Really big and nice lighting. We were there in the summer, so I can't say on the heated floors, but I'm sure they are great in the cooler months. Thanks so much for a flawless stay!

Excellent…. but.
I absolutely loved it. There are simply some small quirks. Every night around 9-ish and then again a little later, it sounds like something is trying to crawl out of the kitchen sink. It must have something to do with the pipes. You are also below a lived in house that has Littles. You can hear them walking around, but they are Littles and go to bed early. When you first walk in, it has that musty motel smell, they should ditch the carpeting in the bedroom. Better pillows and mattress would be nice. I would absolutely stay here again! The bathroom is amazing. The only other comment I have is about the website. It asks you how long you need the place for. I stated the 22nd through the 27th, meaning, I needed to sleep there the 27th! But I got booted as someone else booked the room for that night. It worked out just fine, but there was a moment of panic when you are coming from the other side of the country. The other issue with the site is, that it is very difficult to get a message to the owners. It gets you in these loops of clicks that take you nowhere! I can’t tell you how many codes I requested before I just gave up and got a message through by pretending to be a new customer.

So well appointed.
It’s so nice to stay at a property that has a high quality mattress, pillows and bedding because so often this is not the case. I slept so soundly. The beautiful soaker tub was so nice to sink into on cold, wet days. Plus, the shower had a powerful water flow which was also appreciated. The radiant heat under the bathroom floors was a treat too. I felt the owners thoughtfully created creature comforts in a city that can be wet & windy. So enjoyed my stay.

I was in town for a few days on business and needed a quiet place with good access to Portland. I loved the location and how quiet the neighborhood is. The room is well-appointed with everything I needed. When I had a question about logging in to live TV, Jon was available to answer. I would definitely stay here again on a future visit!
