The Space:
#StayinMyDistrict Downtown Vancouver! Located in the heart of downtown Vancouver, walk out your door to Shopping, Dining, & the Waterfront, Ester Short Park. Minutes to Portland & PDX. Experience sights/sounds of the city from this Downtown loft, it is 1 of 2 apartments available for guests in a small downtown boutique apartment building shared with long term tenants of the building. The building has secure access from the street. Each unit is a cozy one-bedroom apartment that sits right across the street from Vancouver Mall Transit Center and is close to a plethora of establishments from Shopping, Pottery Painting, Dining, Bars, Entertainment, Farmer’s Market and walking distance to the Vancouver Waterfront! You’ll want to venture out on foot to explore and live like a true urban adventurer! With all the action right outside your door, you'll never run out of things to do. You may bring your car, just know that you MUST Pay to Park on weekdays. The city makes it easy by using the pay station just outside the entry to the building or by downloading the Parking Kitty App to your cell phone.
This apartment has 1 Bedroom which boasts a plush queen-size bed, soft linens, pillows, comfy comforter and blanket, and ample closet space and drawers to stash your belongings. If traveling with an infant we do have a pack-n-play available on request, you must give us Advance Notice. Need to catch some extra Z's? No problem, we’ve provided window blinds and blackout curtains, as it can be bright on those sunny days. Because a city apartment comes with the possibility of city sounds, we provide a fan, earplugs, and sound machine for your convenience. If you are a light sleeper this city environment might not be for you.
Feeling Hungry? Whip up a meal in our fully stocked open-concept kitchen, complete with cookware, utensils, dinnerware and two! coffee makers (Drip and Keurig). Don’t forget to explore the local coffee scene, even though we provide a complimentary amount of coffee for emergency the city and the NW has great coffee roasters, you’ll want to bring some home with you! The dining area seats 4, so enjoy your feast with a friend.
There is a beautiful full size desk with office chair so you can work from home.
When it's time to unwind, the living area is the perfect spot. The living room is decked out with everything you need to feel right at home, so you can relax, unwind, and enjoy your stay. Binge-watch your favorite shows on the Smart TV (just use your account sign-ins), or simply snuggle up on the plush sectional with a book and blankets.
Don't worry about laundry - there's a coin-operated washer and dryer across the hall (make sure you have your quarters) and we provide a small amount of laundry soap for your convenience. If you are “old-school”, we also provide an iron and ironing board.
Our fully updated bathroom shines bright like a diamond, complete with vanity sink, shower/tub combo and high-quality linens, and paper products. Keep your fur looking fresh with our complementary shampoo, conditioner, & body wash. Oh, and there’s a hairdryer, too!
Just one thing to keep in mind: YOU MUST PAY for PARKING on the street during weekdays. But no worries - the Parking Kitty App makes it easy to pay from your cell phone. So, what are you waiting for? Come live it up in the heart of the city!
Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the entire apartment and the laundry room across the hall. The building entry is via a locked street level door with keypad. There are quite a few stairs leading to the 2nd level. You will need to pay to park on the street during the weekdays using the pay station or via Parking Kitty App.
The Neighborhood:
Convenient to I-5, Downtown Vancouver, Vancouver Waterfront & Interstate Bridge (0.8), & Portland (9.3 mi). Less than 5 min to the Clark College campus (1.8) and The VA Medical Center. This home is in the Esther Short neighborhood in Esther Short area Vancouver and has a Walk Score of 96/100 which means it's a walkers paradise. This means that daily errands do not require a car as most amenities are within walking distance. The location also has a good transit score of 98/100 which means there are many nearby public transportation options. The home is near many parks and green spaces. South Cliff Park (0.6 mi), Marshall Park (0.9 mi), 3 miles from Downtown Vancouver in the Harney Heights Neighborhood, it is the central business district and cultural hub of the city, it's known for its historic sites, arts district, shopping, nightlife, waterfront, and family fun. Getting Around:
This downtown apartment is convenient approx. 0.8 mi to the Vancouver Waterfront, right off. Public transportation in Vancouver is run by C-TRAN and operates a variety of bus services including local express and regional routes as well as The Vine rapid bus transit system. You can also take the SeaBus the passenger ferry that connects Vancouver with north Vancouver, the Burrard Inlet Public Transportation is convenient and affordable way to get around especially if you don't have a car and want to avoid driving. Use the same ticket across buses, and the SeaBus, you can also use the trip planner on the C-TRAN website or Maps app to find the best route and schedule for your destination. Biking is another option, especially if you enjoy being active and eco-friendly. There's plenty of cycling lanes and trails throughout the city as well as bike racks and lockers at transit stations and other locations. You can also rent a bike from one of the many bike shops or bike share programs in the city. Walking is simple and easy in the downtown Vancouver area as it connects the waterfront and its many trails to the downtown area.

~We require full names and addresses of ALL adult guests as well as a government issued ID Verified through Airbnb
~You may be required to provide a photo of your Drivers License or Government ID directly to the host. This is for the safety and security of both guests & property Owners, and will be requested at the discretion of Stay in My District.
~ You must be over the age of 25 to rent any of our properties.
~ No additional guests and visitors/guests that are not registered on the reservation booking are allowed to be on the property after 10pm.
~Be Mindful of your noise level as there are others who reside here, you are on vacation, and they are likely not.
~ Smoking anywhere on the property will result in forfeiture of your entire deposit plus can result in additional fees up to $500 for smoke removal.
~ Housekeeping is required and provided every 15 days for an additional charge on all stays over 15 nights.
~ Pack and Play may be requested ahead of time, but it is not kept on site so please be sure to let us know in advance.
