Our family enjoyed our week-long stay! The property is convenient to downtown, with scenic drives to area beaches. We would likely stay here again if returning to the Portland area.
Great house, great location in a very nice neighborhood. A couple of issues upon arrival in which
the owner took care of right away. Owner very nice, accommodating and
promptly responds. No central air, so house feels humid, but portable a/c's do keep the house cool.
Kitchen well stocked, comfortable beds
this house was nice but could use some attention in the kitchen. it was a bit dirty and cluttered. also the walk way into the house had over grown bushes that you hit when you walked to the door. overall i would probably stay again in hopes these minor issues were resolved!
This was a great house we shared with 6 adults and had plenty of room. The kitchen had anything you could need. The portable ac units did the trick if you kept them on. They are a bit nousier than central air but they did the trick. Overall great location to get into portland or the surrounding area.
My daughters enjoyed being able to use their Stand-up Paddle Boards on the nearby river. in the morning and then shop in the city in the afternoon.
We also liked having a well-supplied kitchen and a near-by grocery store to fix some meals -- although we mostly ate out.
Still many things left to do in the area so we might come back next year.
The hosts, who stayed in the basement of the property while we were there, were quiet and left us alone. They were responsive to texts in a timely fashion
The host was excellent. Responded to concerns immediately. He is sometimes in a separate apartment in the back of the house. It is sound proof as advertised. You won’t know he is there. However, The property needs some help. I cleaned the bathtub, closet shelves and swept the top deck and front door area. The shrubs block the walkway in the front. Need to be trimmed. The back yard is not like the picture, the fence needs to be fixed and several items put away. The trash can and recycle bin in the kitchen needed to be cleaned before plastic is put in them. The property is listed as air conditioned. Two floor units in the bedrooms work fine but the main level was very hot. Need a unit on the first level for the hot weather.
Nice, clean, and spacious home. We were a group of 6 and had no issues. Home was close to all Portland attractions.

Liked: Communication, location
Spacious
I booked in the month of July. Overall, the stay was good. Nice location, quiet neighborhood outside of the bustle, good amount of parking, spacious house. Easy communication with the owners., very quick responses.
A few things to note if staying here. 1. The pictures are much nicer than IRL. Seems to have some wear and tear from age. 2. The house does not have central air, rather individual rooms have units and fans. 3. There were a lot of ants, spiders, daddy long legs throughout the rooms and the house. Mosquitoes filled the home because of the individual room AC units (window openings from the unit). We all had several bites each evening. 4. The rooms are very bright. Not enough window shades or the right type of window shades. Bedrooms could use curtains to keep darker. The dining area and living room could use shades to be pulled for whenever we left to keep the house cooler in temp. We were asked to turn off the ac every time we left…which meant the house was SUPER hot every evening. All in all nice place to stay!
I was there for my church convention
We really enjoyed our stay most of our time
Was out of the house. It felt like home at the
End of the day. I would stay again if it’s available

bad experience !!!
Owner of house backed into one of the vehicles we had parked in the driveway, several hundred dollars damage to our vehicle. There were rotten potatoes in the vegitable bin which created a bad odor. Grass not cut, shrubs almost covered the front entrance. Would not stay there again !!!!!! BAD EXPERIENCE
House was great, perfect size for the 4 of us. Front walkway was a bit overgrown, had to walk threw plants. Deck had weeds growing up through decking. Felt very comfortable there. Thank you!
