Dating back to the early 19th century, Dolphin Cottage is a traditional Portland stone holiday cottage situated on the Isle of Portland, Dorset. The cottage is located along the Jurassic Coast UNESCO World Heritage Site, just steps from Chesil Beach; an 18-mile long shingle barrier beach stretching from West Bay to Portland which is one of Dorset's most iconic landmarks.
Once inside, Dolphin Cottage is a welcoming and homely holiday cottage complete with characterful features and exposed Portland stone walls. The ground floor comprises of a cosy living room, a dining room with wood burner and a traditional cottage kitchen. There is also a ground floor shower room, and a small courtyard with side gate access. Upstairs are two King size bedrooms and a family shower room. The twin bedroom is situated in the loft room on the second floor of the cottage. The cottage is pet friendly, and has private parking for 2 cars on the driveway that runs to the side of the cottage.

Second floor; Steep steps to the second floor twin bedroom, with 2 single beds, wardrobe and Velux skylight window
Parking; Private parking for 2 cars (one behind the other) - parking pole in operation

From Weymouth; Drive over the causeway towards Portland, continuing straight on Portland Road. Arrive on Portland, drive past the 'shell' fuel garage on your left and keep straight until you reach the main Portland roundabout (Victoria Square roundabout). Take the second exit here - pass 'The Royal Victoria Lodge' on your left and take the right hand lane towards the next mini roundabout. Take the right and then immediete left at 'The Little Ship' which will be directly in front of you. Turn left here on to the A354. You'll see the 'Blue Fish' restuarant in front of you on your right. Keep straight here until you reach an opening / turning on your right in to 'Brandy Row' turn right here. The cottage is directly in front of you, with a yellow parking pole in the gravel parking space next to the cottage. You'll see the 'Dolphin Cottage' sign hanging on the cottage.
