Beach/harbourside cafe's abound on Portland and Weymouth, where you can enjoy a drink or lunch whilst looking out across the waters from Chesil Cove, Portland Marina or the Fleet Lagoon. Weymouth harbour is beautiful all year round and retains its old fashioned charm with picturesque painted houses, cobbled streets and fishing boats moored in the harbour. Plenty of cafe’s restaurants here too. There are numerous festivals going on all year, notably the seafood festival in July which attracts celebrity Chef's and the Carnival in August. Not forgetting how famous Weymouth is for its fancy dress at New Year!
