Not private, peaceful or relaxing, false advertising!
The road directly behind the property is constantly in use, even headphones didn't blank out the noise, no chance of relaxing/sleeping by the pool!! Watching the tv in the evening was drowned out by the noise also! No taxi/airport transfer could find this property, both transfers were highly stressful, a hired car is VITAL! Property in desperate need of renovation/maintenance, pool especially with so many tiles and paintwork fallen off & fell off during my stay i retrieved from the pool. Loose slabs around the pool I twisted my ankle and in pain for 3 days & a poor design that a sunbed doesn't fit along 3 sides of the pool, cheap, dirty & uncomfortable sunbeds. Barking dogs from the neighbours regularly & gardener from nextdoor I caught staring at me by the pool, so not private! Main bed rickety and noisy, woken up with each move. Cooker doesn't work properly & very noisy. Glasses, cutlery, crockery all needed washing before use. Pool cleaner let himself into the garden without prior notice, harassed with calls to let him and the gardener work at the property during the day is not acceptable & was definitely not appreciated!! Bedding was dirty, clear to see blue stains over 2 pillow cases. Sink & cleaning brush/scourer well used & dirty.
In summary, I couldn't wait to leave but I left the property cleaner than on my arrival, which the host sent me a thank you message.
