Praia da Rocha has a stretch of sand that covers a total area of around 146,000 m², along 1.5 km of coastline. The beach owes its name to the rocks that lie between the sand and the sea. It is one of the most famous in the Algarve, if not in the entire country. Every year, during the summer, the beach is filled with tourists from all over the world. In recent years, it has hosted the Beach Football Mundialito, which is played in a stadium built for this purpose and which has a capacity for 3000 people. Next to the beach, there are a variety of restaurants and bars that attract a large number of tourists, both during the day and at night.

Needs Improvement
Our check-in process into this apartment was easy as we got the key from security at the reception. However, on arrival we were told someone would be there to check us in but no one came. On entering the apartment, it felt like no one had stayed there in ages. There was dust everywhere and we were overcome by an awful smell of water accumulation probably caused by something that had gone bad in the apartment. Nothing works in this place! We couldn’t use the stove or the washer. The bathroom drainage in the sink and shower were slow as well. At some point, we even cleaned the place ourselves to try to make our stay bearable. I messaged the host about the smell in the place and got no response. On top of all this, we noticed ants around the apartment. It was really horrible and I would not recommend anyone staying here until they take appropriate measures to fix the issues mentioned above.
