"Great place to stay for a few days. I was looking for somewhere just outside of Cardiff for a few days for a break on my way down to London, turned out to be a very convenient stay and great value too. My room was nicely heated, comfortable bed, good water pressure and clean. The Hotel has a nice bar downstairs for a Friday night drink (very quiet too). Staff were quite friendly and there were a few good options for local cafes and restaurants. It's a good choice and good value. I only stayed two nights. Took a nice drive down to Penarth on morning for breakfast and a walk (10 min drive). Likewise it's not a long drive to Cardiff CBD. Good stay. "

"Building is undergoing roof works so is covered in scaffolding - however no interruptions and inside was an oasis of calm. Staff across all departments were exemplary and the room was comfortable bright and well appointed - food in the restaurant was excellent in the evening and breakfast to excellent with plenty of options"
