"Met by the very attentive owner who is very polite. Answered texts very quickly, and checked in to make sure everything was okay and to see if I needed anything. Place was clean, bed is very comfortable, and amenities are close by with a car. Easy access to major highway close by."

"The property was beautiful, clean and in the perfrct location for being able to walk anywhere in downtown. Close to a park for kids and lots of choice of restaurants too. So much history in the building was an extra bonus!"

"Property was under construction, but this did not hamper our stay. Was clean and location was ideal. Would love to visit again once construction is complete. We loved the patio and spent most of our time outside."

"The place we stayed was a little bit away from the convenience. It was too far for walking since bus stop was distantly away. Fortunately we got rides and didn't need bus transportation. Overall the place met our satisfaction since it was in a quiet area and we only stayed for few hours for sleeping each day. "

"The house was found as described in the listing, modern, in very good condition, and located in a quiet family neighborhood only a 15 minute drive from downtown Halifax. We (party of 6 adults) found the house properly cleaned and outfitted, and nicely warmed, upon our arrival. The check-in instructions (essentially the keycodes for the front door and garage door) were provided 2 days in advance of our arrival, and we had no problem accessing the house. "This is a beautiful property! The home comes with everything you need for both short and long term stays. It’s a very unique property and Jim has done an amazing job renovating his place. The stairs were a little difficult for my 91 year old mom but other than that we really loved our stay!"

"This was an ideal place for us to stay - short trip to visit family in the area. We like the convenience of a kutchen to make tea, coffee and quick snacks. Location was ideal and the host was lovely - so friendly. Suite had everything we needed, plus extra touches such as toiletries and tea and coffee were provided. "
