"This camp was perfect for our moose hunt. You can literally see the access road to the North Maine Woods from the driveway. Plenty of parking, and great view of Portage Lake. The camp was exceptionally clean and well furnished. Beds were comfortable. Would absolutely stay here again."

"Used this as base camp for bird hunting in the NMW for a week in October with my dad and his dog. Was a perfect spot to crash at the end of long day in the woods. Comfortable at night, even had the luxury of the TV to watch playoff baseball at night, and the sunrises were amazing every day. Eric was very welcoming of the dog and very quick to answer any questions. Would tell friend s a stay here again."

We also enjoyed walking through the trails on the property. We were disappointed that oddly we seen no wildlife on the property not even a squirrel or rabbit. We loved our stay and appreciate how the Hucks made our stay so very much enjoyable. "

"My Family had a small reunion at Portage Lake. The cabin ended up being the perfect meeting spot. We had dinner there every night. The grill and burners outside were perfect for a clambake and grilling. We sat by the fire pit, with the children fishing, riding bikes and making smores. It was truly one of the most relaxing and enjoyable locations I have ever been. On the Rainy days we played board games, did karoke and laughed alot. Chad and Jana were incredibly hospitable and accommodating."
