"I treated my children and the grandchildren a weekend away at this special place- a group of 8. The excitement of choosing which bedroom to have and who got the bunks was a highlight. There was just so much room for us all to relax or get together to play games together. The views over the Manukau was spectacular and we spent a lot of time on the deck just watching the sunrise, boats and planes. We loved the little walkway down to the private beach-a little steep for the oldies, but we made it! The kitchen was well stocked with every utensil and plates etc you could need and the beds were comfortable and cosy. We did not want to leave and we will definitely go back again for a family holiday. Thank you to Kim for letting us use your special place."

"Castaways Resort was wonderful. The chalet was clean, comfortable, and had a wonderful view of the sea. The restaurant was good and had a great variety for breakfast. It is out of the way, but if you’re looking for someplace remote and quiet, this place is excellent. "
