The biggest positive about this motel is its location right next to the very beautiful harbor. However, there were so many negatives, that I can't really recommend it. When we first walked in to our room, we found a dirty washcloth from the previous guest hanging across the bathtub spigot. It is not possible that our tub had been cleaned if that washcloth was still in it. The entire property is very old and rundown and in dire need of an update. We had a small balcony overlooking the harbor, which was nice, but the concrete floor was so broken and cracked that we were terrified to stand on it.
The breakfast was very small, with very few choices. When we were there, they were out of at least half of the items. Most of the guests were getting very upset that there was so little food. Even worse, though, were the trash cans. They were all overflowing with garbage - literally, the floors and surrounding countertops were stacked with garbage. It was clear that nobody was maintaining the breakfast area at all.
Not one staff person was particularly friendly and we felt like we were bothering them every time we spoke to them. Overall, not a great experience.
