Upon arrival, Dune Dancer offers covered parking for 2 vehicles. On the ground level you will find a laundry room that includes beach chairs, umbrellas and a tent for your enjoyment. Entrance to the home is by way of rear stairs leading to a cozy screened porch, one of three outdoor spaces to enjoy. The recently redecorated beach house features high vaulted ceilings. Most rooms are on the main floor with an open common area featuring a brand new smart tv, a couch that converts to a queen sleeper and additional seating. The primary bedroom is situated at the back of the home with a queen bed, private en suite bath and connected porch perfect for enjoying the natural landscaping and sound of the crashing waves. The secondary bedroom also offers plenty of space and comfort with a queen bed. Both bedrooms have TVs with streaming movie, tv and music capabilities. The well appointed kitchen features standard appliances and a breakfast bar with seating for 5, the dining room table seats 6 with access to the shared covered porch. The upstairs loft offers a day bed with a pop up trundle that converts into a queen bed, providing additional sleeping space. One final outdoor area is the open deck running the length of the home with a seating area and two eating areas with seating for 12.
Local amenities include multiple well stocked general stores, bait shops, and to-go sandwich deli's. Pop in to one of the local fish markets and choose your favorites to create a wonderful seafood dinner to enjoy at home, perhaps world famous local oysters? A short 15 minute drive will bring you to Port St Joe with it's charming downtown area featuring boutique shopping, coffee shops, fantastic restaurants, sports and wine bars and more. Local options for exploration and activity include kayaking, fishing, horseback riding on the beach, and you can even enjoy an evening beach bonfire. Salinas Park is a short drive from our home offering a playground and boardwalk to explore the "other side' of the Cape - the St. Joseph Bay.
