Inside, enjoy contemporary comforts like a full kitchen, central air-conditioning, free WiFi, and a private washer/dryer. Salinas Park, with a playground, grilling pavilion, and scenic pier, is only five miles away. The quaint towns of Port St. Joe and Apalachicola are each within a 20-mile drive.

Enjoyable
The octagon shape of the house for us was interesting. Everything is compact but still all you need for a short stay. Maybe add a couple of recliners in the living area for more comfort.

Bug Hotel with no working amenities
Dealt with an infestation of cockroaches trying to get in my groceries, spiders, crickets, fruit flies etc all week. Literally were talking dozens of instances. I have over a dozen photos. Was pre-charged an cleaning fee and stayed in a disgusting bug house, absolutely ridiculous. The extra fees with VRBO are out of hand, I payed like almost the same amount in extra fees as I did for my rent. The WiFi didn’t work for even a moment in 7 days, the dishes were filthy and the dishwasher also did not work. Pretty awful experience and for sure my last time doing short term rentals in someone’s home. Hotels at least take pride in giving you a clean room and working amenities. I was told by an exterminator that came by that he services 200 Vacasa rental properties in the area, and this home owner refused regular service. He had never been to that location even once. Why would I want to stay at someone’s property who doesn’t even take enough pride in it to keep it free of pests? Bad experience.

1. Dirty dishes in sink 2. Washer broken. Known issue as review on booking. Com for same property dated Oct, 8, 2023 stated same problem 3. Wi-Fi not available. Known issue same as above, mentioned in October review 4. Multiple attempts by me to communicate with Vacasa customer service resulted in multiple promises and no results 5. I was told by Vacasa customer service that "local management" would contact me about issues and I have not been contacted
