"I have fallen in love with Millie's place! We came here a year ago with our Beagle Lab mix who was battling cancer. It's very healing here. I came back this past weekend to work on my mystery novel, based in Hope's Bay (my fictional town that I based Lexington on. Got so much work done in the heated covered porch. Even with cold and rain, it was so nice and cozy in there! Magical!"

"By far the best feature of this home was easy access to the beach for my grandsons! It was a short and safe walk. The kitchen was efficient and well-equipped. The beds were comfortable and large. The layout required a lot of stair-climbings, but short trips. We had beautiful weather all week, but typical warm humid summer days made the lake water welcome!"

"This house is bigger inside than it appears at first sight. We instantly felt cozy and right at home as we walked through the front door. Kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed. A big shout out to the housekeeping staff this house was SPOTLESS!!! We so appreciated it thank you!!. The only draw back was, there was so much cardboard and yard waste (too much to clean out) in the fire pit we were afraid to have a bonfire, because of the low tree branches right above it. "The cottage is an easy 5 minute walk to a private community beach on Lake Huron. On a holiday weekend, there was always plenty of room for us and everyone was friendly. The house was clean and quiet. Comfortable beds. Everything we needed in the well-appointed kitchen. Only two of us and a dog on this trip, but there was enough room for 4 to stay comfortably. Charcoal grill and firepit available for use. Diana was a great communicator."

"Wonderful location right near beautiful Lake Huron. I imagine it’s busier in the summer but nice and quiet in October. Very comfortable cabin; especially loved the screened porch which was perfect spot to play games as the sun went down. Didn’t cook (easy takeout nearby) but perfectly adequate kitchen if we had wanted to. Lots of nice walks and beautiful sunrises. Highly recommend for a couple; might feel crowded with more people "
