December 2024 - Mainstay suites at pga village also called Sleep In, port st Lucie. There were cockroaches, spiders and fruit flies in the room. blood, hair and dirt on the sheets. Dirty couch in both rooms.Loud fighting and slamming of doors. I switched rooms to other side of hotel and still fighting and slamming. They have FEMA people living there. they ran out of towels and toilet paper. Worst hotel I have ever been in. (I had stayed for 1 week two years prior and it was much quieter and cleaner then.) New owners now.

Property needs renovating inside and outside. Rooms and furnitures were old and uninviting. Even with a non smoking policy, was directed to a floor where I smell strong smell of smoke in the hallways. Carpetings outside and in room, old and dirty. My second bad reviews booked through Expedia this year (St Augustine and Port St Lucie, FL). Don’t think I will be using Expedia again, unless you do something.

Called for service due to the tub not draining twice, we extended our stay for a total of 3 nights and no one ever showed to clear the shower drain. It was nasty, asked the manager, Steve for a discount for a 4th night and he refused. So we went elsewhere. I do have have to say a front desk guy named Ryan was as helpful as he could be. Very nice.

Absolutely terrible
Service was very poor to non-existent. Room furnishings were old and in bad shape. The biggest issue was that the room was filthy, and smelled very bad. I am extremely disappointed in Hotels.com for their rating and can’t imagine how anyone could find this hotel acceptable in the least.
