"As much as the pictures show the beauty of Sundance, it is ten times more amazing in person. It's so peaceful and tranquil, the perfect place to recharge. We will definitely be back. Two key points: 1. The bugs are very prevalent at dusk, so make sure to put on bug spray at that time or you will get eaten alive. They didn't really bother us at any other point during the day. 2. Be prepared to make a lot of your own meals. There are restaurants but they are few and far between. The best option is to plan a menu for the time you'll be there and to stock up at Alvernia Food Store when you arrive. It is right by the airport and well stocked. We can't recommend Sundance enough!! You will not be disappointed. It's close to perfect. "

"We had stayed at Shanna's Cove next door in the past. This house was perfect for a family of 4. We had the best beach and access to Shanna's Cove resort for dinner all week. It truly was the best of both worlds. Patti was great and was quick to respond. Would love to come back next year."

"If you are looking for a place to stay with restaurants and music and a lot going on, this is NOT the place for you. If you are looking to TRULY relax, cook your own meals and enjoy the quiet of the Bahamas, this is your place! Cat Island is SO beautiful and serene, and Cat's Cove is the same. This home is the most amazing place we have ever stayed. The home has all that you need to be comfortable, water to drink, all of the cooking supplies you need to just slow down. We had beach towels, clean blankets, amazing views. Everything! We brought way too much stuff! I loved combing the beaches for treasures, I found so many! Our son loved fishing and kayaking, he caught a handful of really cool fish, our daughter loved being in the water and kayaking, and my husband did it all. We enjoyed our sunsets floating in the ocean, and late nights at the Tiki Bar. Music playing loudly, of course! We love that! There wasn't a soul around. It wasn't until the last day that we saw anybody. This vacation was a bit quieter than we thought but it made us unwind. We had a wonderful experience! Rollez for a night and Da Smoke Pot two times and souvenir's on the side of the road! This is a place to truly unwind and just relax. It was amazing! Cat Island, and Cat's Cove will never be forgotten for our family. I hope you can have the same experience! "

"We had a wonderful time at Rock Hill House. The house and beach are both stunning and in a peaceful part of south Eleuthera. Really appreciated that every bedroom had its own bathroom - it made for excellent privacy for all the guests. The beach is lovely fine sand and there is pretty decent offshore snorkeling - we saw the largest parrot fish that we have EVER seen and we are long time snorkelers. Bring your gear! The tug and barge wrecks just offshore are really cool and remind you of the power of the ocean. The house is showing her age a little - some of the sliding doors don't work and the faucet at the bar. But none of this detracts from this lovely home - it has an elegance that many homes on Eleuthera do not. We did the hike to Lighthouse beach (do it before Disney opens!). Make sure that you drive to Governors Harbor and go to Island Farms - best grocery shopping on the island (fabulous lasagna to go) and great wine prices. Their homemade salad dressings are fantastic. Pam was provided excellent help and Sheila did a lovely job keeping the home clean and tidy. All in all a wonderful stay at our fave island."
