"My wife and I had a wonderful week at this rustic and well appointed cottage in Upper Kingsburg. The place was clean, comfortable, and has a completely outfitted kitchen. Most importantly, the bed in the master bedroom slept well. The location is gorgeous. The sound of the surf on Hirtle's Beach was a constant companion. The hike around Gaff Point is a must. The scenery is fantastic and the trail is moderate with some sections crisscrossed by tree roots. Stay safely back from the eroding cliff...

"A very quiet and lovey spot to vacation. Close to several great beaches. Easy drive to Port Medway, Liverpool and Shelburne. Cottage is small but well equipped and a good size bathroom. The Loft ladder could be a challenge for anyone who has mobility or height issues. Beds were very comfortable. Enjoyed several meals and coffees on the deck watching boats and the seals. The host was pleasant and helpful and resides on the same property if any issues arise. Loved our visit and hope to return....

"We did not stay at this location. Our boat was canceled due to the Hurricane. I was in communication with the owner and asked her if we could get a refund. She said no. I understand people have to pay there bills but this was an act of nature. The Canadian government told people to stay off the roads and have a 72 hour emergency kit ready. "The home was beautiful and had all the comforts of home. The home is just a couple of miles outside Lunenburg proper, and it was easy enough to drive into town. It sits on a beautiful cove, and we got to see an abundance of different varieties of birds, including cormorants, loons and bald eagles.
