Tacking Point Surf Club is only a short walk away. The beach is patrolled in warmer months. The Surf Club has a bar and bistro open Friday and Sunday afternoon/ evening's. The Coast Cafe is open daily for breakfast, brunch and coffee. Excellent surfing at Club Rock & Watonga Rock and there is also camel rides further down the beach. Enjoy a stroll along the beach or if feeling energetic climb the stairs to the lighthouse & continue on along the coastal walk all the way to town with several vantage points along the way.

Neighbourhood shops are a short walk away boasting 2 restaurants, 2 cafes, takeaway, post office, convenience store, butcher, hairdresser and bottle shop. Coles supermarket & Tacking Point Point Tavern are only a short drive away.

New and clean but opposite childcare
New and modern so that was nice. BUT it was opposite a childcare and on a busy road so no sleep ins, shouting kids, light comes in thru the blinds. Felt the floor tiles and carpets were dusty and my daughter’s allergies flared up. But otherwise nice leafy green area

Property was decent for our 6-week stay (true to the photos) and the agent was delightful to deal with - courteous and helpful. However, the website does not provide actual address of property before you submit deposit and book. There is a large all-day day care center right across the road with screaming kids, and the road is incredibly busy with traffic from early morning through late at night. If you are seeking peace, avoid this property (unless you plan to leave early each day, stay away all day, and can sleep through noise).

stayed here for 3 weeks, pick up of the key was easy, house was beautiful and very clean, easy drive into town and lighthouse beach is a very quick drive or a short walk away. Would consider staying here again next time I am in town

Great location!
This was a great place to say out of port Macquarie but close enough to drive in for a meal. Lighthouse beach was beautiful! Loved the coffee shop Bitte Sweet! Would definetly come back!
